Looks like they tried to make a 300 style movie. Will be complete garbage. Arthur should be a scrawny shy type of guy who has trouble coming to terms with his new position. Going the sayss chad/chav way is as wrong as it gets.

Yes. Don't you know they used to gel their hair in those days?

>they

Do you know who Guy Ritchie is at all

>muh original interpretation

Man form U.NC.L.E gives me hope that Pre-Madonna Guy Ritchie is back, will see this.

i can't stop laughing

>black guy in the first 5 seconds

>my fantasy movie with giant elephants and dragons and wizards and shit isn't realistic enough!

>He's the villain

> mfw saw the trailer
> went straight to Sup Forums to see if anybody else had noticed CIA

That's a big arrow.

Is the protagonist imaging all these shit?

AYY YOO

Ilike Charlie Hunnam but it seems like he only stars in shit.

>Character's name is Bill
THE MEMES

At the end of the movie it will reveal that it's all a dream and all the historical inconsistencies were supposed to be red flags

The only thing that is real is CIA's participation in the war.

>these arrows, they fly so good

BANE?

oh i didnt know guy ritchie did it. gonna be shit for sure then

APOLOGIZE

MEME MAGIC

>historical inconsistencies
>arthurian fantasy

>Lancelot is gonna cuck Arthur
>He's also black
Jesus Christ how blatant are they being?

>jesus christ jackie boy as arthur
>based CIA
>based the Roose
>there is magic in it, no muh realistic king arthur story crap
>knights of the round table operating like a street gang

It's gonna be the next Excalibur, screencap this if you want.

fucking ayyys

>literally Gotham's reckoning
>surrounded by masketta man
>possibly mercenaries

For thee.

Guy Ritchie is awful. Why is it filmed like fucking Snatch?

I think it looks interesting. The black guy has no business being in a King Arthur movie no matter how schlocky it is.

He's not Lancelot.

>IF YOU PULL OFF THAT SWORD, WOULD YOU FIGHT?
>IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT
>YOU'RE A BIG GUY
>FOR A KING

Reminder that British school curriculum is pushing the false narrative that blacks were in England before whites

Why couldn't there just be a serious drama from Merlin's perspective? I'm tired of this silly shit.

looks like Thrones

Guy Ritchie is the definition of a meme director.

>'old 'old up, back up

WE WUZ KNIGHTS N SHIT

source on that famalam?

it was already made in the 90's

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merlin_(miniseries)

Used to rewatch this all the time on the vhs recording. cant remember if it was good desu

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3392088/GCSE-pupils-taught-nation-s-earliest-inhabitants-Africans-Britain-English.html

>Directed by Guy Ritchie
>Sir Bedevere (pictured right) is a black man in this.
>Also starring David Beckham
>CIAs character is "Goosefat Bill"

seems the meme movie of 2017 is already decided.

Isn't based Stephen Dilane in that?

This is gonna be great.

I love it already just for the manchild tears it is producing.

>Sir Bedevere (pictured right) is a black man in this.
this time he'll be talking about how earth is watermelon shaped

The production quality looks really low, like it's a BBC miniseries or something. I don't know why no one seems capable of making a decent retelling of Arthurian legend without muh diversity.

youtube.com/watch?v=UpAcztfmZUY

shit im going for a nostalgia rewatch

Merlin was amazing. also Camelot tv series with Joseph Fiennes & eva green is about Merlin molding Arthur into a worthy king(lady in the lake was excellently done)

>and refers to a Roman legion of North Africans briefly stationed on Hadrian’s Wall in the 3rd Century, before the arrival of Anglo-Saxons.

whites were in britain before the 3rd century famalamadingdong

Well, I mean, I'll say one thing for it no matter what because these days...

Anyway, what I'm saying is; at least he's white.

>he doesnt like rock n' rolla

>nigger knights in Arthurian legend

Fuck this movie and fuck Guy Ritchie. Not going to watch it. At least not in the theater, may download it when it's out because Snatch style medieval story looks kind of interesting.

I don't think I've seen that before, I'll check it out. I hope to some day see something like this book. It's from Merlin's perspective and it's very realistic with none of the magic that's normally associated with him.

King Arthur, I'm Goosefat

>Don't you know they used to gel their hair in those days?
celts did in fact style their hair, usually with bee's wax and even used a lot of red dye

...

Who cares, at least he is not a nigger

there's also one in arthur's 'crew'

Like why the fuck do they always have to make a white knight black for the sake of diversity when there was a fucking saracen knight of the round table? Why not just add him to the story instead of making someone from Europe a nigger.

>Romano-British King of the Britons
>Looks Anglo Saxon as fuck

>Rock'n'rolla style chase
>Slow mo doggos like Snatch
>The money rewind

Is Guy Ritchie back?

>undercut hairsyle in medieval times

Literally a black knight

...

...

You guys are a bunch of beta fuckboys. This movie looks based.

Deadfalls pretty good

>no Roose

His role will probably be a lot smaller than the trailers makes it out to be

>Literally Bill Wilson
Holy fuck

Actually looks like the original Arthur story. With twins dragons and all.

Based fucking Sam Neill

Great movies

the fuck did you watch?

how far we've fallen from Excalibur

WE WUZ KNIGHTS N SHIT

yeah, about 3000 years before.

N-no fucking way...

ROASTING THESE POTATOES WITH NO SURVIVORS

a long fucking way, its almost like they want to turn arthurian history, into bullshit fantasy, to further erode our understanding of britain during the dark ages.

GAWAIN?

Not as such, but then I can't remember him ever being shown correctly ie as a Romano-British war leader and (probably) Comes Britanniarum.

>Guy Ritchie
DROPPED

Guy Ritchie is shit now

I'm amazed at the amount of speedup/slowdown, hair gel, and black knights.

>a long fucking way, its almost like they want to turn arthurian history, into bullshit fantasy

Well put, user. Excalibur is in no wise "bullshit fantasy" riddled with anachronisms.

>literal meme arrow
what have you done Sup Forums?

this

Pretty much Jax with a sword.

Instead of motorcycles he use horses.

BLOWBACK

King Arthur 2004 was the most accurate

youtube.com/watch?v=fqZh1tg_bF4

>its almost like they want to turn arthurian history, into bullshit fantasy

you're talking about a legend where a woman who lives in a lake gives a magic sword to a boy king, knights in full plate and chivalry exist in the VIth century, knights in full plate can fight for hours and loose gallons of blood with no problem, magic exists, God personally guides people, the Roman empire exists at the same time as chivalric knights (and deploys giants in battle) and sorceresses are all over the place

King Arthur was NEVER meant to be historically accurate going back to even the earliest sources, this movie just looks like plain garbage on it's own merits

>King Arthur 2004
>accurate
Pick one.

excalibur, had at least a scense of celtic romanticism about it.

Reminder that this is supposed to start some Arthur cinematic universe.

screenrant.com/king-arthur-movies-series-1-6-guy-ritchie-warner-bros-excalibur/

Is he Robin Hood? I want him to be Robin Hood. Since they fucked up with history so much, surely they can put Robin Hood in the story.

King arthur has been plagiarised since geoffrey of monmouth, the true story of arthur is real if you care to look into the old celtic poems and manuscripts.

No, but a Robin Hood movie is coming next year

imdb.com/title/tt4532826/?ref_=nv_sr_1

>Robin Hood: Origins
>A gritty take on the classic Robin Hood story.

oh for fuck sake

YES!! Every movie has to have a cinematic universe now

>bongistanians ITT mad at 'inaccuracies' in their silly dark age folk tale
Fucking kek.

No Arthur is the amalgamation of certain figures who existed in the 5th century who beat up the Saxons but there's close to nothing to actually go on factually.

That's only Le morte d'arthur and all modern fantasy works deriving from it that you describe
