When i sneeze people say: ¡salud! Whit literally means 'health', Americans says 'bless you'. How u say it in another countrys?
When i sneeze people say: ¡salud! Whit literally means 'health', Americans says 'bless you'...
We loudly yell "GET FUCKED" each time for good luck.
Try it sometime it really works
XDDDDDD
> How u say it in another countries?
אף גדול עיטוש גדול
it basically means, "be healthy"
in germany its Gesundheit, that also translates to health. But every year its changed if its appropriate to say anything or what you should say. Because you could hurt someones feelings when you wish him health and he is terminally ill.
So basically is the same in most countrys
A tes souhaits
"to your wishes"
That franglish hahaha
In portugal we say "saúde"
Which translates to "heath"
If its a kid you may say "santinho"
Which would translate to "little saint". I guess its our version of "bless you"
Romania: "Noroc" (good luck/cheers) or "Sanatate" (good health)
Germany: "Gesundheit"(health)
In austria we say "Gesundheit" wich means be healthy or i qish you good health or we say "hüf da gott" wich means god help you more or less a bless you
weird how english differs from most european languages in this aspect
most euro languages say something to do with health, but not english
"Jesus" in Spain
I think it comes from the plague. Wasn't sneezing one of the early signs of having it?
So if someone sneezes, you wish it not to be the plague.
In Finland we say "Terveydeksi" which translates to "For health"
My grandma would say that too
We say "fuck off faggot" in Italy.
Why would anyone say HEALTH!
That's retarded
We say prosit which means "to good health"
in Spain we say Jesus
makes more sense than blessing someone
In Sweden we yell rape
Kebabın bol olsun
in turkish
In France we say "À vos souhaits" which means "to your wishes".
France is the most chic and cultured country of that planet. Once we'll get rid of that sandnigger pollution, once mankind will evolve towards more intelligence, the whole world will face the fact that France is the most beautiful country. It represents the highest achievements of humanity.
same in Poland
na zdrowie = for health
Not true.
In italy we say "Dio bestia" (Deeo Besteea), which roughly translates to "Be with got"
gezondheid
In Russia
Будь здоров (bud' zdorow) = be healthy
Who is got?
Do you mean the Goths? These faggots wearing black and dwelling cemetaries to get the shivers?
"god help you" in icelandic.
from what i've heard if you sneezed during the medieval times it was a sign of having the plague, thats why most countries are "god help you" or a variation of that
in my village we say: heil hitler
but we also use the same phrase to greet us, to say good by and basically for everything
In Hungary we say "Egészségedre!"
which means "for your health" too
It translates more accurately in "god damnit", tbh
Prossit it is supissed to mean "get better" or "i feel you" in norwegian
Terveydeksi.
