Nostalgia aside, any good?

Nostalgia aside, any good?

got some huge tits in it

its a little silly in some parts, but still an enjoyable movie

It's my favourite film.

It's good, but it's hard not watch without nostalgia goggles.

huge old tits. Still a good fun flick

I love it, but I'm sure millenials will hate it because "ZOMG SO DATED, AND THERE ARE BORING PARTS, I NEED EXPLSHUNS EVERY 20 SECONDS OTHERWISE I WILL STOP WATCHING AND GO PLAY CALL OF DUTY"

like 33?

It is a pretty enjoyable film

Why is millennial still an insult when you're obviously a millennial

Millennial doesn't mean ''everyone younger than me''

yeah? I'd have guessed late 40's

Yes
Its slower pace and attention to detail will never not be good.

You are merely used to non stop action sequences, relax yourself then enjoy this film.

>it's a Millennial Complains About Millennials episode

Sigh, another re-run.

It's not exactly an action movie, I've always considered a dark sci fi thriller.

I'm not a millennial.

u like like a fucking petulant child

kys

Escape from New York is a genuinely good movie , LA however is terrible

LA is better

What's the thing after millennials?

LA is a good terrible though.

Generation Z?

The special snowflake generation

Well, kids are really into that zombie apocalypse thing, so you may be right.

billenials

Full Blown Autism

25 year old here i grew up with these sorts of movies so i dug the retro vibe unironically i liked parts of it.

Most of it is pretty average even for its time movies like Mad Max 2 did what they set out to do alot better than something like this which sort of had an idea and then wondered off literally.

Enjoyable film
Not as good as Thing and Big Trouble

Doesn't get as "crazy" as I would have liked. Though Escape from LA is nuts but not as good

Aside from from this and The Thing what is some essential Kurt kore

sequel is better.

>Big Trouble in Little China
>Overboard
>Tombstone
>Bone Tomahawk
>Escape From LA
>Captain Ron

Captain Ron in particular is high quality kino on the level of The Pest. Watch it.

>forgetting tango and cash

>kys
I will.

Stargate
Soldier
The Strongest Man in the World

It's fantastic, 10/10

Carpenter's third best after Halloween and The Thing

Damn, Kurt used to be a 10/10 before he got old.

Anyone who can't enjoy a film with Kurt Russell surfing a tsunami, a wisecracking Steve Buscemi sidekick, and an evil plastic surgeon mutant played by Bruce Campbell is not someone I can be friends with.

lol not really idiot

XD SO RANDUMB!!!!!!!

He played Elvis in a biopic, it's pretty good

Word

Mah Nigga.

That's the fun gun :)

enjoyable isn't the same thing as good

Escape from LA is an entertainingly bad movie, while Escape from New York is unironically a great movie

Which is Kurt Russell's best character/performance in the John Carpenter holy trinity: Jack Burton (BTiLC), MacReady (The Thing), or Snake Plissken (EFNY)?

>best character
Snake Plissken

>best performance
MacReady

Snake on all accounts. Jack was just a le funny John Wayne meme man, and MacReady didn't really have a character past being a genderswapped Final Girl who took charge on a base filled with retards.
