>Ringo isn't even the best drummer in the band
What the fuck? Why he was such a massive cunt?
>Ringo isn't even the best drummer in the band
What the fuck? Why he was such a massive cunt?
he's my favourite beatle
Because he was a massive cunt.
There's no proof he ever said that
If he did he certainly didnt truely mean it
also
>having a favourite beatle
Paul was a better drummer though

Ringo was a left handed drummer who played right handed drums
Accurate but for me Paul=George in songwriting
Ringo was a fucking amazing drummer
you have to keep in mind that the shit the dude was doing that sounds simple was actually fairly new at the time + Ringo has absolutely monster feel
the dude swings his ass off
no one sounds like Ringo
>I GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS!!!
Paul was better from 63-67. George was better from 68-70 easily.
agreed
>tfw the Beatles have gone on record to say that they always gave Ringo directions as to what to play on songs
>even the songs that he sings lead on were always tracks that the other Beatles had to hold his hand through such as With A Little Help From My Friends which is a Paul/Ringo track
>The best drum performance that was ever on a Beatles song was done by Paul (Dear Prudence)
yeah I can do that too, so what?
thats why i consider them equal

without looking it up, tell me which songs Paul played drums for on the white album if no one sounds like him
because he copied ringo's style how is that not obvious to you?
he must not be so great if he can easily be copied
are you listening to yourself? you have no arguement shut the fuck up
Let me spell it out for you, without ringo paul would not play drums like that
kek I'm just bored. Honestly, I think Ringo is severely underrated as a drummer
Ya had a feeling thank god ur not that retarded
I can appreciate the devils advocacy nice b8 m8

Ringo quit during The White Album sessions. Since he was away for like 2 weeks but the rest were confident he would reconsider the recording sessions didnt stop; Paul played drums in Back in the USSR which has one of the simplest drummings on the album - anyone could have played that.
John's quote on the OP was one of John's sarcastic comments, and it was more a dig at Paul's drumming than Ringo's
Redundant but nice summary
This was a joke made by some comedian around 1983 I think. Lennon never said it.
itt retards who think George Harrison is even in the same galaxy as Sir Paul McCartney
Oh my sweet lord i cant believe someone has different opinions to me
