The World Series of Darts Finals conclude today in Glasgow with 3 of the WSoD's stars already out following some inspired performances from the so-called "invisible" players that didn't go on the global knees-up.
First off is the only seed v seed battle with lazy fat bastard Adrian Lewis against dimwit Dave Chisnall. Snackpot displayed the exact kind of performance against Tenereefy jobber Cristo Reyes that has seen him favour sea-based tournaments, while Chizzy threw his best darts in at least a year against Belgian chipmunk Kim Huybrechts.
A repeat of a thrilling European Championship encounter is next as Michael van Gerwen faces Simon Whitlock. An unusually nervy encounter with Welsh roidlet Gerwyn Price saw MVG blunder a 9 darter and still win the leg on D1 while Raymond van Barneveld's headshaking saw him exit to the Wizard.
Phil Taylor's reward for silencing the raucous Scots crowd and removing Mensur in the process is a meeting with Benito van de Pas, who took advantage of a James Wade meds comedown to fight back from 5-3 to go through.
Ending the afternoon is a repeat of March's UK Open quarterfinal with the only "Scot" left in competition Peter Wright up playing perennial "Future World Champion" Joe Cullen. Clownman eased past Daryl Gurney while the Rockstar benefited from Gary Anderson's utterly retarded decision to not only look like a paedo in his new glasses but to also change his darts.
