Why is no one talking about this? Trainspotting 2 will come out in January 2017. How hype are you?
>Author Irvine Welsh recently revealed that the sequel will see his much-loved characters Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud find a "very innovative" way to get involved in the world of pornography.
So it looks like it'll be an adaptation of Porno. I've loved that book, so I'm definitely looking forward. Kinda weird seeing Begbie with the rest of the gang on the train tracks, seeing as he's out for Renton's blood in the book.

I really hope it turns out to be awesome, but I really don't calling this film by going "T2". We already got one that was humongous success on every level. Whoever stands behind this production, they should be careful about what they may bring up with.

A big reason it has taken this long for there to be a Trainspotting 2 is because Mcgregor held out because he thought the book's sequel was terrible and didn't want it to ruin the original movie.
