Why the fuck not, they can sound fantastic.
this
Thought about getting a pair of closed backs, these worth the money?
>tfw exact point of diminishing returns
I love them, absolutely fantastic. Totally worth the money, haven't found anything as good that doesn't cost significantly more
...
i'm lmaoing at you guys right now. i'm rocking beats by dre
Astro A40
Shure SRH240A's. They're fucking amazing.
Does this make you retarded or simply ignorant
this thing that doesnt even sound good.
>mfw beats suck absolute ass
Its Just bait
makes you a fag for taking his bait
I'm on Sup Forums by default that would make me a fag user
...
Skeptical at first because Chinese.
But god damn, they rock
>inb4 meme
Fuck you, I like them
...
What do you expect from a thing that looks like this?
yeah, i have a razer gaming headset, used it like 3 times then got a corsair
>Liking anything
>Being alive
>Current year
Great surround sound for games.
Movies also sound really fucking badass, especially action stuff.
Im wearing beats by dre and loling at you guys.....fag.....you overpaid for average quality because you think the name dre means something.....sorry fag but everyone in thread is lol at you
This is shit and you should feel bad for liking shit.
The i am 14 yo and a pro gamer starter set.
Too lazy to get a pic but I use grado sr80es
Reloop RHP-10
I never said I "liked" my A40's, but they're comfortable enough and don't sound bad. Plus, I chucked that shitty mic as soon as I got them...
No. Shit tonal balance, poor soundstage, poor detail.
I've seen way too much Razer and Beats
Cucks
Why white headphones user?
Various T50RP mods
Etymotic ER4XR
Sennheiser HD600
Focal Elear
10/10, love em
Sound decent for the price but holy fuck the build quality. Makes me cringe.
The build quality on the v2 is no worse than my sennheiser hd650
doesn't require an amplifier that costs as much as the headphones either
Exactly how many ears do you possess user?
They're fine, but the mic is shit.
Snapheiser's build quality is nothing to aspire to
Hyper X Cloud II
Unbeatable
Eh, maybe
I love the sound of the HE-X though.
Haven't heard it before, understand where it came from
Does it go super sayan
I grow them in every month or so. No but seriously, it's fun playing around with different sounds. Hence why I have a billion different T50RPs all modded to sound different.
It goes even further beyond
This is the first set of wireless headphones I've ever had, I bought it after destroying about 7 headsets in a row. (Roughly 2 a year) due to cord abuse because of my chair and way I sit)
These are going on one and a half years now being the headphones that have lasted me longer than any other and have one died one me once in this entire span, pretty good. Not as comfy as some headphones though. But it gave me an appreciation I'd never have had before since I can walk all around the house without taking them off.
Snapheiser from HD700 and lower. Though saying that, had my 600s for 8 years with no cracking or fractures. Just pad changes.
I envy your pockets then user
best quality of beat
Too bad the HD700 and 800 sound horrible
The HD700 has to be the foulest audiophile headphone out there
MDR1000XB, quite like them
actually these have pretty solid audio, even when compared to the 990 pro's. I'm just using it as a mic at the moment.
It's not a meme, they are objectively garbage
Went from DT 990s to HD598s for better soundstage in gaming.
Although a note: the 990s have very good soundstage for closed backs
It is beatable, two words
>Open back
They're ok, the are just an apple product. 5 times more expensive than they should be, made for sheep
Correction, went from 770s that were closed back.
Astro A50
haha was just about to ass since the 990's are open.
Z Reviews fantard? HD700 aren't great but the Hd800 is by far the grandest headphone presentation of the last decade. Anyone who is Zeos of denies is an idiot.
I am but a lowly water filter salesman.
I should add:
HyperX Cloud II
Logitech G933
Corsair Void Yelllowjack
God damn, user. Why do you like wasting money so much?
Because I earn enough money and I tried to find a wireless headset I like.
Astro is the best so far
Why'd you buy four garbage headsets?
With that money you could buy good headphones and a modmic and still have enough left over for a decent hooker
DUDE ARE YOU A PROFFESIONAL ELITE DEATH REAPER BUMBLE BEE MILLION COLOR NIGGERETARD GAMING GAMER?
Name a good wireless headset and I'll buy it
First off, stop buying gaming headsets. Furthermore, anything in Sennheiser's wireless range.
There isn't one and you don't need one get wired retard
>good
>headset
Choose one and only one
Wired is inconvenient and I can't be bothered.
The ASTRO sounds good and the microphone sounds good enough for what I need it for.
These badasses have been going strong for 8 or 9 years now. Had to change earpads cus they got moldy, now the new ones are suffering the same fate cus I use them so much. They only began to snap a few months ago, and I regularly run over the cable with my chair.
I only do gaming and media (netflix, YouTube etc.)
I don't need studio quality sound.
>I only talk to people, I don't need good ears, I only need to understand the message.
>i only watch Netflix, i don't need anything better than 480p
V-Moda Crossfade M-100 wireless here with those XL earpads. Fucking love them.
i just blew my headset out :(
...
I never realized how muffled sounds were with "gaming" headsets and the detail i was missing until i picked up quality stereo headphones and paired them with a decent DAC/amp
To say that I these headsets have low quality sound is retarded.
They aren't the studio level quality but the sound is good.
I don't know what a DAC/amp is
It's an audiophool expression meaning "I'm such a fucking moron I spend hundreds of dollars on placebo".
I've used both A40's and A50's, and they do indeed have shitty sound, the bass is too muddy and loud, and the rest of the things are muffled.
Compared to my cheapass AKG K702's they're garbage.
It's literally the circuit that turns mp3 files into sound
If you have ever listened to recorded music in your life you have used a Digital Analogue Converter and an amplifier
I went through 7 pairs(thanks best buy warranty) of Logitech G35's and a pair of Logitech G633's (arguably the same, at least to me) because they sounded the best to me out of Astro/Triton/Turtle Beach, and I firmly believed that virtual surround sound was a distinct advantage.
However I soundwhore just as well, if not better on stereo gaming after learning virtual surround is more of a gimmick than anything.
A DAC is a digital to analog converter for the amp to output a stereo signal. An amp is what drives headphones that may require extra power and to control volume without distortion via other means.
You know fully well that everyone who is talking DAC here means that placebo shit USB interface, not their motherboard audio.
I had 2 pairs of G35s, then 2 pairs of G930s.
I went to the G933 but the surround doesn't work properly so I went to the Void which was shit because it felt weird.
Then I went to the Astro and I like the sound and how comfortable they are.
Wtf is Z Reviews? I bought an HD700 and while comfortable is sounded AWFUL
Y u mad tho
I wouldn't say placebo. My onboard sound picked up massive static so a USB DAC was necessary
