Why do LA area teams win so much?

NFL: Raiders 7-2, winning AFC West and about to move closer to LA. Rams, who gives a fuck

NBA: Lakers 4-3 and showing a lot of promise under Luke Walton. Clippers on top of the Western conference

MLB: Dodgers 2 wins from WS, but got umpballed out of a WS apperance

NHL: Kings won 2 Stanley Cups this decade

NCAA: USC on a 6 game winning streak. UCLA looks good

Not to mention GOAT women and GOAT weather

Why do we win so much?

>Why do LA area teams win so much?
>Raiders

Raiders are an LA team whether you like it or not

The Raiders are more popular than the Dodgers in LA, you stupid shit

That doesn't make them an LA team you dumb spic.

You might as well include the 49ers in your "LA area."

>San Francisco
>LA area

Ok, learn geography and sports history

Kek no you dumbfuck. LA is dodger town without a doubt, LA has just as many Dallas and niner fans as they have raider fans

>""""""""LA area"""""""""

Oakland is literally a walk away from San Fran you mong.
I'm not even that guy but you're the retard here

Sure thing buddy

>2014
>LA didn't even have a team

You showed me, Juan.

Dodgers and clippers are over payed and over hyped chokers

Map still looks the same now

Now with the Raiders moving to Vegas (which is 100% a done deal by all accounts), they'll be closer to their core fans

And Vegas is pretty much an LA suburb

Everyone knows that the Raiders are associated with LA in a way that they aren't with San Francisco

youtube.com/watch?v=hX400vG44YE

The Raiders won their last superbowl in LA

Where in LA are you from? Because here in Burbank that really isn't the case

>UCLA looks good
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
NICE B8 M8

>salty raidnigger thread

Lol

Why would I be salty? Let me know when the LA Coliseum can sell out for the Rams like they did for the Raiders for 12 straight years

Do they give leave to go to football games in prison?

I live in silver lake but go to school in csun. And Burbank is infested with Rams and all types of bandwagon teams

Am i the only Angeleno who doesn't really see that much Raider gear anymore?

Like I see it, but not that often.

>The Raiders are more popular than the Dodgers in LA, you stupid shit
So if people in Chicago like the Cowboys then Chicago has a good football team?

Different story because the Cowboys core fanbase isn't in Chicago

The Raiders core fanbase is in LA

Yeah it's not that prominent outside of Chicano culture, mostly due to them stinking for almost a decade straight.
It's only gonna decline here in LA in the coming years thanks to the Rams, not sure about NorCal though

>outside of chicano culture
>implying thats just not thugs amd deliquents wearing it to look hard

Ffs there are gangs in LA that just appropriated the Raiders logo just like the Kansas City logo.

There are no actual fans of the chiefs.

>Raiders are popular in LA therefore they're a LA team

Wew lad. Guess the Yankees are also Florida team by this logic.

So the Yankees played and won championships in Florida?

>no one likes the New York Jebs

This OP:

>Why is LA so good
>has one legit entry about the Raiders
>lists some other weak shit that didn't result in championship
>lists some other shit that didn't happen in the last month

who cares

But the Raiders aren't even LA.

>la being the shithole of california trying to claim bay area teams
>because op looked out the window and saw spics wearing raiders gear "omg raiders"

yeah i guess the chargers is an oakland area team

I want to be a screenwriter, should I move to LA or will I just fail?

>why does LA win so much
They literally dont. Now cleveland on the other hand has an NBA championship an UFC title an AHL championship and an AL pennant. Not to mention the browns are in a glorious rebuilding year and will hoist a trophy within 5 years. Stay mad coastal fags

>the browns are in a glorious rebuilding year and will hoist a trophy within 5 years

The browns have been in a "rebuilding year" for over 20 years

>claiming other cities accomplishments to make up for your failures
Vegas is a 4 hour drive from LA

No its not. You sound desperate man. Thats like saying st louis has back to back championships because i see some cubs and royals gear

How are the Raiders a Bay Area team?

They were in LA when they won a championship and most fans are here. And they're moving to Vegas because of the LA fanbase

Youve already failed for wanting that

>this same guy who makes this same thread

>got umpballed out of a WS apperance
Member when the umps forced Kershaw to give up Two home runs in game 6?

True but try to name a better sports city in the year if our lord 2016

How is Vegas LA?

Most people who live in Vegas ARE from LA.

Vegas like LA is involved in entertainment

Vegas is no different to us than Orange County, the Valley, Riverside, etc. is

Delusion: The post

Orange county is adjacent to LA. Vegas is in a different state. Thats like saying st louis is a suburb of chicago

I thought I told that nigga he's going to kill himself because he's a frustrated spic but he keeps making the same threads over and over, what the fuck.

Do people in St Louis identify with Chicago like Vegas people do with LA and California?

NO? Ok glad we got that solved. Don't pretend you know what the West Coast is like

>7-2
>frustrated

k.

Except vegas doesnt do that at all. They root for california teams because they dont have one. Thatll change with the raiders and possibly nhl down the road. Nobody in vegas considers themselves an angelino or part of socal culture. Youre fucking deluded admit your teams are shit and let oakland have their moment before they lose their franchise. Fucking leeching on others success ive never seen anything more pathetic

>go to tulsa for business conference
>see someone wearing a yankees cal
>OMG TULSA IDENTIFIES AS A PANSEXUAL ANGELINO
>TULSA IS BASICALLY A SUBURB OF NEW YORK

How is being an LA Raiders fan being a leech when even Mark davis said that SoCal is the home of the Raiders last year

The only real LA team is the Kings. All the other teams were relocated there from other cities.

What a plastic "city"

Because the raiders havnt been in LA in 23 years. You can be a fan of whoever you want. Ill always be a rams fans personally. But if they win a super bowl im not going to proclaim how great a city st louis is

>see this thread last night
>almost write up a post about how stupid OP is
>come back today to see OP BTFO

>le raiders are la team may may XD

>people are still falling for this bait

This autist posts it literally every other day.

How are the Raiders not an LA team?

There's even an ESPN 30 for 30 on it

LA is such a horrible city, fuck are there any decent cities in the US besides NY? I've been to Chicago, LA, Miami, SF and all those cities are shit.

What bait? You can't write the history of the Raiders without LA

There isn't. American cities are plastic. Put a Trump Tower in the middle and surround it with suburbs. Done. There is your american city. Aussies do the same btw so fuck off nigger

OP didn't start this thread with the intention of shitposting about how good LA teams are, he started it to shitpost about the Raiders being an LA team.

But LA teams are also good

>And Vegas is pretty much an LA suburb
LMFAO thank god i live in MA where we don't see retards like you.

Muh Clayton Chokeshaw.

>got umpballed out of a WS appearance
no they didn't, that call wasn't even fucking close idiot

ah so Kansas city is really a suburb of Chicago? Norfolk, VA is a suburb of NYC?
and Raleigh is a suburb of Atlanta then

you have to have commuters in order for it to be a suburb

>2 super bowls
>more than 30 seasons in the bay area
>the entire sage of Al Davis

Good thing the LA-LV air corridor is one of the busiest in the country

Plenty of people commute from Clark County, NV to San Bernardino County, CA and vice versa and San Bernardino County is DEFINITELY LA area

>Plenty of people commute from Clark County, NV to San Bernardino County, CA

is that why theres vast stretches of road where people can push 80-90 MPH because there's no other cars in sight?

>GOAT women and GOAT weather
not to mention GOAT Zika conditions.

census.gov/hhes/commuting/

Around 4-5k people commute from Vegas into SoCal everyday

that doesnt answer my question though

is that why theres vast stretches of road where people can push 80-90 MPH because there's no other cars in sight?

It's because there's rugged desert where it's impossible to build?

what does the landscape have to do with having little to no traffic?

There's lots of traffic on Fridays, Saturday, Sundays, and Mondays

>theres lots of traffic when people go other places on the weekend

wow. I guess that means Lake Tahoe is part of the Bay area

>ITT:delusional LA fags think the OAKLAND raiders will ever go back to that trash heap
leling @ ur lifes lmao, no one in oakland wants them to go back to LA, we would rather let Las Vegas be their new home if were going to lose them

OP is Zika infesed, evacuate thread.

>Rams can outsell stadiums like the Raiders did
lol no

>How are the Raiders not an LA team?
because they're not in LA

>Plenty of people commute from Clark County, NV to San Bernardino
considering the only place that has any population to note that is even remotely close to Clark county is a city of ~4.5 k called Needles and that there are absolutely no population centers close to it (I am pretty sure the closest one is Boulder City, which is 1.5 hours away but it is only 35 minutes to Las Vegas, Needles doesn't even border Nevada at all) I doubt that a significant amount of people commute daily to San Bernandino, which isn't even fucking LA itself.

by that same fucking excel sheet around 500 commute to Illinois everyday, 500 commute to New York every day (specifically rural counties in some cases)

It obviously includes business trips, which without a doubt makes up at least 95% of the number.

wow it looks like Troy, NY is a suburb of LA too

Is it even a sure thing the Raiders are moving to Vegas?

profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/11/07/league-believes-sheldon-adelson-wants-a-path-to-control-the-raiders/
profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/10/27/sheldon-adelson-playing-hardball-with-raiders-over-las-vegas/

Sounds like its starting to fall apart

Not to mention Hillary is gonna win the election so you won't be deported ese.

Vegas was just a prop all along, the Raiders are moving to LA.

The Chargers aren't moving and Vegas isn't getting a team... especially a team with the reputation of the Raiders.

Vegas economy is held up by southern Californians driving out every weekend. A large percentage of the people living there are Californians who move there for a few years and the come back

The city was literally founded for Californians in the military to stop somewhere on their drive back across the country

Sounds like the Raiders really ARE moving to LA then

Either that or San Diego, another LA exurb

>Vegas economy is held up by southern Californians driving out every weekend. A large percentage of the people living there are Californians who move there for a few years and the come back

yes, it couldnt possibly be all the people from around the world going to the casinos

>Vegas economy is held up by southern Californians driving out every weekend.
Dude, just stop.

>trying to lump in Orange County with the rest of your deluded bullshit

It's called the orange curtain for a reason, Manuel. Nobody here wants to be associated with your shithole city.

Exactly

Vegas is even more connected to LA than Orange County is

You're explaining this to people who've never left their basement before

are you replying to yourself now?

>Vegas economy is held up by southern Californians driving out every weekend.
objectively false as the main casinos are outside Vegas's city limits, meaning that the city of Las Vegas itself cannot get money from those casinos the tourists go to which implies (as Las Vegas is a very successful and fast growing city) that it must be able to survive off being a normal city that has people working in it off anything but casinos, so this is objectively false

>A large percentage of the people living there are Californians
True, 19%

>who move there for a few years and the come back
They don't go back 92% of the time
nytimes.com/interactive/2014/08/13/upshot/where-people-in-each-state-were-born.html#Nevada

Las Vegas was first founded when the country auctioned off a shitton of land adjacent to the Union Pacific railroad. Before that it was a fort founded by Mormons.

Not even the same poster.

post a screenshot

...

Most of which come to Vegas via Los Angeles

Goddamn. You just blew yourself out again

so 30,000 people visit Las vegas everyday from LA?

fascinating. Especially since shows it not even being half that

Even better

Now the Raiders ARE an LA team

But isn't that contingent on the Chargers staying in SD?
