Well done Ireland, but seriously LGTSS:
>THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF SOUTH AFRICAN RUGBY
1st for LFWRLABM
2nd for LBWELAFM
No pic -> Eat a dick
...
Hate to say it, but England's gonna pound the Boks lads.
Georgie Moala off the tour and Crotty out for at least 3 weeks lads.
Fugg.
>haven't lost to Englel in a decade
93% of kiwis surveyed didn't care that the All Blacks had lost. Ireland is basically "our" second team to support, so good to see not everyone's missus got a black eye.
Mine did though, because she burnt the Sunday roast.
>93% of kiwis surveyed didn't care that the All Blacks had lost
>our second team
Fuck off it is
>What is 2012
RSA haven't lost to England in a decade numbnuts.
47% of New Zealanders are fucking liars.
ALB/R. Ioane it is then
>93% of kiwis surveyed said they "like don't even care about this gay sport" while crying hysterically and gritting their teeth
>17 years ago today was the last time that a likeable team won the World Cup
Really makes you think lads.
>Australians
>likeable
>ever
SOMEBODY MAKE THE FUCKING PHONE CALL
:(
youtube.com
>yfw 5th November will soon be a national holiday in Ireland
>6 hours 44 mins
>20 posts
kek, nice poomunity you guys have here.
Isn't his achilles still fucked from the olympics?
Yes well done Ireland, well done Ireland
HOWEVER
I think that NZ team was pretty fucking weak.
>inb4 hurr no such thing as a weak NZ team
Seems about right apart from Itoje at 6 and maybe Farrell at 12. I'd actually pick Watson ahead of Dagg too.
Payne > BOD
>Garry Memerose already beaten NZ
>BOD never did
The first complete rugby match I watched was Ireland v. All Blacks. It was pretty cool, and I plan to watch the rematch in Ireland. My one question is does this all lead up to a final playoffs/tournament to determine the champ or is it just based on the regular season results?
>boks on a +10 handi against england
worth a cheeky tenner
There's a World Cup every 4 years. The next one is in 2019
These matches determine seeding for the World Cup in 2019
England could win by like 30+ points Tbh. Wales v SA will be the true cripplefight this autumn.
Do the top (x) amount of teams teams qualify or is it by region like soccer?
literally fucking google it
Player of the year shortlist announced lads
>Beauden Barrett
>Billy Vunipola (lol)
>Dane Coles
>Maro Itoje
>Jamie Heaslip (LOL)
>Owen Farrell
Why the fuck is Heaslip on the list?
I like NZ as a country but it really is an appalling accent
>snapping your achilles
Yeah, it's one of the worst things that can happen in terms of sports injuries.
:'(
The Good Guys
Japan
Argentina
Fiji
Ireland
Georgia
Canada
USA
The Neutrals
Australia
England
Wales
Scotland
The Bad Guys
France
Italy
Samoa
Tonga
New Zealand
South Africa
Scotland and Wales to bad guys
NZ to neutral
Ireland to neutral
pretty rude desu
This
But everybody likes Scotland and Ireland
Most people don't even know Wales exists so they should be neutral
Italy should be neutral too since they're too inept to hate
And finally, NZ should be The Ultimate Bad Guys since the top teams are always less likeable than the underdogs
wales here, the way we play the game at the moment probably makes us the bad guys, everything bad about rugby we excel at.
Spotted the casual lads.
It wasn't a weak team by any standards. A weakened team perhaps. They played horribly in the first half, turnover after turnover after turnover. Injuries took a big toll in the midfield. They were rattled af as the defence fell apart and Ireland walked over tries. Second half came right, but it wasn't enough, the Irish defence was fucking solid. gg Ireland, you're the only team in the world at the moment that can beat them. Consider yourself #2, England can fuck right off.
Fuck you're stupid.
Thanks for watching our sport!
>Stage 5: Acceptance
How many women did you beat to get there, lad?
we had 2 debutants on the bench and another 4 who had less than 16 caps between them
Because he's not only a the world's premier number 8 but also an intellectual, entrepreneur and social innovator.
I reckon they're going to destroy us in Dublin lads.
Not forgetting his top drawer sense of style.
meh the domestic violence gag is pretty fucking weak 2bh.
Like the kiwi defence
NZ defence wasn't awful Ireland just took their chances well
;'[
This is a poosonality I can really get behind.
What is Gatland's problem with Hook? He should be our starting 12.
Unironically in the running for "world rugby player of the year"
This is a nominee in sure /rug/ can get behind
"We" had loose forwards on the wing and as lock, and front rowers filling in for loose forwards
A team with that many out of position players, no matter how good they are, will not perform as well as a less capped player in position.
That being said ''we' played like shit and deserved to lose. The small infrequent bursts of expected form from "us"" wasn't enough.
If you're going to toss in an Irishman just based on last week it should be Murray or Stander
Heaslip wasn't even in the top 3 number eights this year. How the fuck does Facundo Isa not get a nomination
Barrett won't get it imo. He isn't consistent enough in form.
Shame that people got upset about A.Smith he would for sure have been there if the media didn't make a big fuss out of it
I like you lad, wanna sponsor my emigration?
Jamie 'muh defense when people slam straight into me' Roberts
anybody watch the ROG documentary when it came out?
youtube.com
honestly made me like him a little more. He still comes across as completely delusional and up himself but you realize pretty quickly that it's because he's a massive autismo rather than just being a prick
>but you realize pretty quickly that it's because he's a massive autismo rather than just being a prick
You're only finding this out now?
You could have asked any Irish person and they would have told you this....... 10 years ago
The Kiwis were outplayed by a far better side who put pressure on them, reminded me of the 43-31 World Cup win over them by The French. Pressure the kiwis and they panic.
LOL!
I've seen that somewhere
meh they'll trounce us in the aviva
Yea but we still won on Saturday and they can't take that from us
>massive holes opening get around the ruck
>missed tackles
>no turnovers
>Ireland literally walking in tries
>not awful
Found the other seething casual lads.
>pressure the kiwis and they panic
The side was effectively missing it's forward packs backbone and it was missing a cool experienced head in the backs. I want too surprised how the first half went down 2bh. It was the later stages when the injuries piled up a bit that the panic was more obvious.
Ireland recognised and targeted this and capitalised. I would like to say it shouldn't happen next time but it depends on who gets named to play 2bh
Arg or Wales
>meh they'll trounce us in the aviva
Its called Lansdowne Road you scumbag corporate shill
Argentina
If Howley picks the same shitters I'm going for Argentina
Im borderline, im still clueless about who will win.
I think itll really just come down who is fielded.
Argentina comfortably
Did we have any redeemable points?
based Ireland i was at the game well done
I think amos looks promising
Awesome, wish I could've been there.
the GOAT of aesthetics, both physique and playstyle
You have a nice stadium
There's going to be a load of fair weather bandwagoners turning up just like the last time.
I'm almost glad they'll be disappointed.
>mention games 17 years apart
>We can definitely draw the same similarities here!
What "lessons" do you think the All Blacks will take from the 60-0 thrashing in 2012 into next week?
Imagine being Italy this weekend.
team of the year lads
McGrath, Coles, Cole, Itoje, Retallick, Stander, Haskell, Isa, Murray, Barrett, Trimble, Farrell, Leinart-Brown, Dagg, Smith
>trimble
>murray
>farrell
>leinart brown
If FacundGOAT Isa is on the pitch then it's ours.
Lad I've got a sweet pad on Manus Island you can stay at.
Your fans stuck around for the whole game. There was no English fire drill.
He plays like Louis Picamoles with pace
Best part is he's only 23.
>far better side
lmao we'll see in a fortnight you fucking ranga
>Muh'anus Island
Sounds delightful.
don't forget to get out and vote tomorrow lads and help make /rug/ great again.
/heart/
Grats to Ireland. Now Scotland is the only one left.
2003 England was likeable tbqh.
Speaking of which, other than the 1999 RWC semi-final has there been another occasion where the All Blacks led after the first half but went on to lose the match? Usually the opposite happens.
>Scotland is the only one left
Fuck you on about?
