The dark startling photography that you see as a cover art caught my attention in the time in which I needed a space to hide myself. After a failed relationship, throwing anger and helplessly trying to get back to it I've decided to put my worries and thoughts on the series of loops, digital and analog, and depressively tried to create something meaningful which would fully resonate and feature the dark days that came. Sadly, the idea had to be thrown out and stopped since I was never satisfied with the results produced. But now it's back.

The OOOOOOOOOOO's are so nice. Maybe you should try some variations of the same riff. And just as I type it, you do that. But 8 times a very similar thing gets old really fast, especially when it's such a slow, drawn out thing. But the sound of your track is absolutely perfect. I wouldn't change anything there. Perhaps I would use a little more trashy drums to make the haze complete.

Jazzy beats. Okay, it's very chill indeed. I wouldn't call it lo-fi though. This is something I could put on for the entire evening when I want to hang out with my friends, some wine, bbq, sunset, you know what I mean. You got that cozy vibe man.

You NEED to start mixing dynamically. It's too loud from the start and I put SC volume on 30% or some shit. Is this like melancholic trap? I kind of like it, the vocal adds a lot! There's great synergy between that synth and the voice. Have you played with the idea to leave the beat completely, or to just use it at certain times? Perhaps the beat is just drowned out by the power of that synergy.. Anyway, you got room to play around with that shit!

The cowbellish sounds would need some FX put on them and your atmosphere would be awesome. You'd have this neo-exotica-disco track which would pop the fuck off. Perhaps your flute should go a little down in volume just a tad, but only when the notes are hit in quick succession.

love those samples. mm nice jazzy jazz. I wish the spoken word was synced up to it more though rather than just played on top of it.

those guitar tones are perfect. wish there was more guitar. good progression throughout the track, but I still feel like there could be more done to differentiate different sections like maybe a different chord progression as a bridge.

my favorite part was the song titles. some really interesting sounds in there, but overall it didn't have enough going on. maybe try including more layers and textures.

I'd like this one to be a little more beat/FX focused a la later Autechre stuff, but I can't be sure yet if that'll be definitely what I'll do. I'd like to add some progression that focuses on noise, but we'll see if it fits or if I can find something that fits of the like.

This is what I'm talking about. It's so refreshing to see another pop musician in the sea of lofi-trap-vaporwave-chill-ambient-noise music.
Nice clean production (although it could bare to have a little more depth and textured layers (but that's just my taste)). I love the spoken word samples in "don't pretend I didn't get you into beach boys" and all over the album.
I would say that the thing you need to work on the most is melodic phrasing in terms of fitting the lyrics. For example, on the aforementioned title track, the hook doesn't quite fit the melody in a natural way, which is particularly important for the hook. "I don't know where we're going" is a cool as heck driving jam. "Mithering some cunt" is such a fun song. I'll probably come back to listen to your music again, which is rare for these threads.

I mean that the way you would naturally say the words in the chorus (girl don't pretend I didn't get you into beach boys...) and the way that you sing them in the song are not one and the same. A good example of this done well is the song "Just one of those things" by Cole Porter (check out Ella Firzgerald'd version). The melody mimics the patterns of speech (while still being musical), which helps the listener discern the emotional content of the song because it the has subtle cues of spoken English.
You already have a catchy chorus, but this is just something to keep in mind in the future to help make your songwriting even better.
