The best running back talent-wise in the league is Da Crow

Give him a semi-decent O-line and it's fucking over.

he's actually from London

guess those London nogs are pulling the same bullshit

Top 3 maybe. Well see

Please remove the line babby Zeke from any consideration.

>cucks caring about runningbacks because their shit quarterbacks can't win games

Jej

>thinking qb is the only thing that matters in 20XX

>Americans in charge of American football

Once London gets a franchise it's all over for you brehs

>There are people on this board RIGHT NOW that haven't realized that the Miami Dolphins are a meme team

there will never be a team in london for the simple reason that there would be absolutely no way to integrate it into the league with the huge time zone difference compared to team in the us, especially on the west coast

Thank you based bongland

I was just shitposting desu but that's a point I hadn't really considered.

How would it change anything at all? NFL already played 3 games this year in London and the time difference has been fine. So for the other 5 home games it wouldn't be a problem. As for the away games, NFL fans in England already stay up late to watch games so that wouldn't change anything.

The issue is they could never get a primetime game due to the time difference nor could they play on Thursday or Monday

London games start at like 6AM on the West Coast, unfair to fans of West Coast teams to have them play in London

Why would primetime matter? They would be playing at primetime in their own markey

I'd ask if you were retarded but you've already shown your hand. Do you not get how time zones work?

People already make a big deal about teams having to play on the coast opposite them in the US due to the body clock difference. The reason one-off NFL games work in London now is because both teams show up and adjust as best they can. There is no home field advantage for either team because they're on neutral ground on all fronts.

But if a team was established there and lived/operated full time in London, it would pose a disproportionately large advantage since the home team operates on GMT all the time. You'd have body clock gaps of five hours at the very least, and up to eight for the teams on the west coast. It would eliminate parity across the league all in favor for a single team, and the NFLPA wouldn't allow it.

UK only has 60 million people, not really a big market

You're talking as if the London team wouldn't play road games, the advantage they would have at home would be the same disadvantage they'd have away.

You could argue Denver has a higher home advantage with benefits that carry over on the road.

The only argument I accept is that the games start too early for West Coast fans. Its certainly feasible to start the games a few hours later in London which would then create an even longer NFL Sunday

If there were a London team would they go to the NFC or the AFC?

The team wouldn't qualify as either american or national

A historic performance. Lock for top 5 for sure

The simple fact is that it's such a time zone difference that there's no way to integrate into the rest of the NFL, regardless of if you look at it in favor of the team playing at home or on the road. Home games would be ridiculously unfair for the away team, away games would be ridiculously unfair for the London team; either way you slice it, it all boils down to the same reason.

Granted, there are some stadiums where it's harder for the away to win in than others; Denver has altitude, Florida teams have humid heat, Seattle is loud, etc; but those pale in comparison to jet lag and jarring the body clock of professional athletes.

But let's put all that aside and the the NFL *did* prop a team up in London, and answer this guys question while we're at it. The NFL would have to establish a new division, NFL International. A team for London, a team for Mexico, and two Canadian teams.

This would come off the heels of the NFL establishing *another* division, the NFL Central. The season would extend several weeks, with two bye weeks, while the playoff bracket is expanded a couple teams.

The NFL International division would play an AFC division one year, while the Central division plays an NFC division that same year, obviously have games in their conference which consists of the Central and International divisions, and one-off games against a single team from each of the rest of the conferences.

Wacked out, and wouldn't happen anytime soon (probably over 20 or so years), but it'd be interesting to see.

I forgot to mention that the International and Central divisions switch up their AFC/NFC matchups each season, so whichever played against an AFC division one year would play an NFC division the next, and vice versa.

Why would they have to add a division or extend the season?

An odd number of divisions wouldn't work, so a second would have to be established to complement the first. At that point, you're talking about 40 franchises, and sixteen games across seventeen weeks just wouldn't be enough to ascertain who should be at the top of their respective divisions entering the playoffs. Maybe 21 weeks with 20 games and two bye weeks or something like that.

Theres not an odd number dumbass. There is 2. Have you ever watched football

He thinks because they are called American and National a London team couldn't fit into one of them..yea hes that retarded

If the colts can be afc south i dont see why london can be jammed somewhere. Names of divisions are arbitrary at this point

Are you fucking retarded.

There are currently 8 divisions. If you add one, it's 9, which is not even you fucking idiot.

>5th round pick

How come teams are so shit at picking up talent first? Someone like da burrs could've done with this guy.

Why would you add one?
