I love this album but some of the tracks on this are very meh. The highs more than make up for it though.

For me man, even the worst songs are still 7.5/10. The winning streak on this thing is astounding.

this song had some amazing songs but the reason the rest weren't bad was because they were just good
like yeah there was the title track, spanish bombs, lost in the supermarket, guns of brixton, four horseman, and train in vain but rest are pretty unremarkable, although still good

How do you single out Four Horsemen as a highlight but call the rest unremarkable? I'm Not Down, Train in Vain, Clampdown, Death or Glory are all better. The songwriting quality of this album is Beatle-esque.

>no mention of Hateful
I hate you all

I could have mentioned every song desu senpai
The ONLY song I don't think is fantastic is the Card Cheat

i honestly forgot which one four horseman was
i havent listened to london calling in years

My favourite is the Right Profile, the bit when Joe descends into unintelligible blubbering is fucking awesome

i actually watched a place in the sun because of that song

SHBSHUINBGBINFGBAAAAAAA

Hateful is probably that album's best song. And that's saying something.

Also it kinda reminds me of Talking Heads for some reason.

The way Wrong 'Em Boyo starts and then restarts as another song is so wonderful.

it always annoyed me a little because I really want to hear the first song

I get that. I still think the way it naturally transitions is brilliant songwriting

it's called stagger lee
i don't think the clash ever did a full version of it, but you can definitely find some other renditions of it

oh definitely.

WELL I GOT A FRIEND WHO'S A MAN

(Who's a man)
WHAT MAN?
THE MAN WHO KEEPS ME FROM THE LONELY, THE ONLY

Card Cheat is probably in my top 5 senpai-a-lam

Can we all agree that Jimmy Jazz is the weakest song on the album

I always get a kick out of people on this board who try to say this isn't the best Clash album. Contrarianism goes way too far sometimes.
That's fine man, I think it's a very good song.

This senpai

Yes

revolution rock

yep. it's like a 6.5/10

Holy shit its LITERALLY flawless

I like that song a lot man

it's actually unironically decent

I am a genuine Green Day fan. They have put out some occasionally weak shit, but American Idiot isn't it.

What the shit that's one of my favorites. Simplicity has its place

this tbqhwyf

J-A-Z-Z, J-A Zed Zed Z-Z, J-A Zed Zed

I mean it's not flawless but it's damn good

*deletes lover's rock*
I mean I guess it isn't really bad, but it's easily the low point of the album.

Ahem

...

...

Pic unrelated? Because that album has about 6 great songs if you're being generous.

card cheat is patrician top tier

>FUCK YOUUUU

>Nembutal numbs it all
>But I prefer Alcohol
Grade A hangover song

...

No way. It definitely has its place. One of my faves tbqh

TO THE OPIUM DENS AND THE BAR ROOM GIN

Joe Strummer died for our sins

GOAT Album

Probably one of my favorite albums of all time.

RUDY CANT FAIL!!!!

lol

>Biding My time
>Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat

first half 10/10
second half 8/10

favorite album of the 70s

>he doesn't like these songs
visions of johanna the goat song, tho

Agreed. It's my favorite album of all time.

Also, definitely one of the Top 5 best double albums ever.

Literally the best song on the album, please kill yourself

>Hateful
>Rudie Can't Fail
>The Right Profile
>I'm Not Down
>Wrong 'Em Boyo
>The Card Cheat
>FUCKING DEATH OR GLORY
>MOTHERFUCKING KOKA KOLA
>"unremarkable"

No.

Agreed. And the first one sounds like it'd have been just as brilliant as the actual Wrong 'Em Boyo. I'd kill to hear a full version of the first half

Lost in the Supermarket is top 10 songs oat, fight me fags.
