HAH my roommate actually told me to "just jai paul it" when i let him listen to an earlier version with intelligible-yet-low-quality vocals, so i went with it. and thanks!

I like the vocals on that track, they sound eerie Pretty relaxing! I don't normally dig drone, but this is cool. I really like how synthetic the instruments sound; gives it a really interesting feel.
very nice production and music but OH GOD TUNE YOUR GUITAR. You must have meant for it to be so out of tune, but I personally don't think that's a good choice at all. I mean I like Jandek, but he completely embraces the untuned style rather than sounding like a guitar that should be in tune but isn't. also is there some Sung Tongs influence in there, or is it just me?
I remember your stuff from a thread a while ago. love those dreamy textures and spacey sounds. I could totally see myself tripping to this and reaching a new plane of existence. My one complaint is that I wish it were longer. With music like this you need more time to develop a build and progression.
those guitar tones are beautiful. I think you need to work more on the vocals though. I can hear what you're going for, but I think you need more practice to develop your technique and unique voice. good production tho and nice melody.
I like the section that starts at around 1:40. sounded a bit like the minecraft soundtrack for a second there, but in a good way. it's pretty cool how you combine multiple different styles into one song, but I wish you you had more of a cohesive style throughout because it sounds a bit like a mishmash. it's a mishmash with some interesting sounds, but a mishmash nonetheless
very very relaxing and pleasant to listen to. I'd recommend adding some more smaller and shorter tones and textures to contrast the long drawn-out notes you have in there. possibly some sleigh-bells or something jangling in the background or undulating synths or small staccato notes that dance along the waves of the ocean of sound that you already have. you do it a little bit near the end, but i wish you did it more. something like that would keep the listener engaged and add little details for them to hear. I'm btw so check out samweinberg3.bandcamp.com
I'm not crazy about it. Some cool effects but a bit derpy. But that's your style.

user delivered. Thanks for listening! Will look into your advice more clearly on my next release. But some of the small additions and interesting quirks are on the later tracks on the release so if you'll be still interested - check it out on May 1st!
Thanks for listening as well! It makes me kinda sad when this track feels like drone but it does what it suppose to do. As for your stuff - even though I don't like vaporwave (so I can't be a good judge of your release) I have to say that the mix is nicely done and in general it presents a nice sound and aesthetic so keep going with that! I would advice however to make your stuff a bit less ackward, derp-like, you know?
>soundcloud.com/adam-black-and-blue when the chorus explodes in "you're so damn loved" I felt a burst of euphoria. overall your songs are really tight and uplifting. Good stuff m8 Wtf are you doing on Sup Forums bro? I can hear the passion in your voice and the production is top notch. Go get signed and play some festivals! re-vised.bandcamp.com me. 2 songs, barely mixed, unmastered bedroom rock.
fuck off with this art shit, give me a real dirty bitch

Trust me I wish it were so simple to get signed and play festivals. There's nothing else I would rather do. To get there I'm trying to slowly cultivate an audience by posting my album online.
you've got pretty good songwriting, but imo the production needs more polish and more variation. try adding more layers to get different sonic textures. the vocals overall sound good - the vocal harmonies and layering is good on eudamonia. the screams sound good.

what meme is on that god damn cover, what the fuck are you rambling about because that cover is certified meme free
Cameron Adams
thanks man! this means a lot coming from you. So would you say it's overall just good not great?

You still have a lot of work ahead of you. Remember that the key to making music is not talent, but hard work. Study your favorite songs' lyrics and mixes and steal from them. Steal from multiple sources and combine it into your own unique recipe. Good luck.
You gotta do some work on those drums dude, they are really uninspiring. Your snare is hardly coming through at all.
I fuck with your beat on nine tails, but the sample flip is wack. You got the beat down, just really spend some time to find the loop that will carry the weight you need it to carry jah feel
It's not my style at all, so I'm not really qualified to give feedback. Do you have a vocal coach/instructor? From a sound design perspective, your voice really doesn't sound like it fits the type of music you're making at all. The song writing is fine, but the production is lacking (although that's probably common in that type of music). You have a career ahead of you if you're willing to learn.

Well, it's dubstep alright. Not much here to brag about outside of what this dude said: . To that I would also add - try a bit more experimentation.
This is quite obnoxious to be quite honest with you. The beat feels flat, the synth sounds gets annoying pretty quickly. Not much to go around with this sadly. I would prefer this track to be much more dream-y and less annoying.

>commenting directly on bandcamp how? dude you don't even know what you're talking about!
It's a loop. Feel free to check out my other shitty loops that no one uses for their Flash games/movies, there's a lot of different styles
Never heard the original but I dig the vibes. It's a rough mix but that doesn't detract from it really
Very peaceful, not much else to say
Really, really chill. Great choice of sound all around, really like your minimal beats
Not gonna lie, it's all a little out there for my taste. Your most recent was the one I liked the most, love the beat and the heavily chorused guitar. Is it all sampling or do you play any of it?
Really like your older stuff, wish I could play guitar like you. New stuff is good too, good move getting away from Drumkit from Hell
Good stuff, really upbeat. Might just be my headphones but some of it is a bit on the shrill side, might look into bringing the upper mids / highs down a little?
>Really like your older stuff, wish I could play guitar like you. New stuff is good too, good move getting away from Drumkit from Hell
Eyy, thanks. Practice will get you there :) Funny thing is that the new album uses the standard EZ drummer set, but with a new kick. Working on more metal tracks atm
