>A plebian would never admit to anyone that they are in fact a plebian
>Doing something uncommon makes you a patrician

Well played.

I depsise this chart.

I do it all the time. I kinda want to now, since you mentioned it.

I made that, ask me anything

I have better taste in film than 99.9% of this board

Favorite movie is Lawrence of Arabia

Literally don't like any of those. Feels good man

Yikes

I probably can't because I actually think Swiss Army Man is the best film released this year (although I haven't seen Neon Demon or Everybody Wants Some yet)
Isn't it widely considered to be an innovative horror film though?

Same, saw it twice. Once in 2D on opening day and the next in 3D in a theater all to myself.

>not watching Combat! On your third monitor
Pleb.

The previous year was pretty bad too.

I have seen Rush Hour 3 fifty seven times.

...

I'm not gay

>L'Eclisse

One of the prettiest screensavers ever made, best enjoyed while away or doing household chores, though I'd recommend a more engaging one like Johnny Castaway or Starry Night.

15 kb

>perpetually samey crime drama and capeshit

*plop*

Polanski's Macbeth is the best Shakespearian adaption ever

I like you user.

I never liked star wars.

I know. Johnny Castaway is a whooping 1.36 MB.

Not patrician just some asshole who thinks not translating movie titles into English and picking films deemed as culturally important that he actually never has seen makes him an "intellectual"

I enjoy my french fries without ketchup

>2006

Second best, right after Olivia Hussey's prime teenage'd knockers.

>don't watch movie trailers [patrician]

>I always eat popcorn and drink pepsi when I go to the theaters [plebian]

can I be both?

Pleb

Please don't call me that, I don't want to be one.

There has never been a good movie.

Plebeian

The Godfather is the greatest film of all time but Part II is only a 6/10

I have no idea how Game of Thrones has kept up its popularity. The first two seasons had me hooked, I loved it. Good show, good adaptation. Season 3 dropped and I was hype as fuck because A Storm of Swords was by far the best in that series...and it was just fucking terrible. They butchered it so badly I had to force myself to go back, and it was still terrible.

I think it just picked up so much steam with normies that it became self-sustaining and no longer had to try. They did the Viper Bowl pretty well, though.

I've seen Pather Panchali projected from film.

I don't watch capeshit

I love Roadhouse, "unironically".

shit

How did Nolan get away with this?

Freddy Got Fingered is one of the greatest achievements in film. If Luis Buñuel directed this film, it would have easily received an academy award for best picture. Atlas, it was ahead of its time.

I don't understand Sam Hyde's humor.

pretentious as fuck

I banepost

Patrician af

Game of Thrones and other HBO shows are shit.

Sopranos was one of the last good ongoings.

I enjoy the films of Wes Anderson.

good taste

I banepost unironically

Paths of glory is my favorite Kubrick film

Good

>If Luis Buñuel directed this film, it would have easily received an academy award for best picture

Seriously

I never order crab legs.

uhh.. um.. Werner Herzog.. uh... François Truffaut... uhh... um.. Sergei Eisenstein.. uh.. Quentin Tar-- FUCK!!

non pleb here. My ex gf was actually hyped as fuck for Pacific Rim, and when I told her the obvious transformers/eva connections she tried to defend herself with the typical fanboy bullshit like"b-but del toro has artistic integrity, he loves to make movies and doesn't do it just for the money", I could have done a big debate there and destry her but I just replied aking her "if he doesn't do it for the money then why isn't he releasing this on youtube for free", I could see her trying to come up with something and told her that this is pretty much a scam to get mad chas from dumb people like her who like to spend 2 hours of their lives watching shit blowing up with loud noises and basic kindergarden humour, she got upset with me and leaved the apartment, as if that was some sort of punishment for me being "mean" and "rude" to her, fucking lol.

>pic related, my face when surounded with plebs

I murdered most french new wave directors and got away with it.

>36.9% of people liked Arrow more than the Flash
Embarassing

S4 hadnt happened

Almost as embarassing as crunching the numbers to find the percentage on a website. Jesus, get a real hobby and get out of first-year Engineering lad.

Lol

I thought batman v superman wasn't that bad.

i understand that style can be and often is part of the substance

I don't worship kek.

>not Jarman's The Tempest

>2004
>2006

This.
I loved BvS since I watched it in theatres.

Most of those are flicks, not films

I form my own opinions about films rather than adopting the opinions of others (like plebs) or taking the opposite opinion of whatever the plebs express (like unterplebs).

i watched la jetee.avi once
