Terminator

Terminator
Conan
Commando
Predator
Judgement Day
Total Recall
Last Action Hero
True Lies

All of these movies are perfect or near perfect. What made him so good at picking winners?

I would remove LAH but apart from that I agree it's a ridiculously amazing and underrated run of iconic action films.

All that mattahs to me is Jenny.

He had a good agent

You missed one
>Jingle All the Way
Truly CAPE KINO, that movie should be deeply analysed by Sup Forums.

Arnold actually read scripts and often offered good insight on how to improve upon it. He is a really smart guy and has an eye for engaging material. At least he used to. I don't think he cares as much anymore.

his larger than life persona also just elevates anything remotely good to great. I mean, any of those movies with different actors would have been good, but not the timeless classics they are now.

This.

>his larger than life persona also just elevates anything remotely good to great

Even bad movies become good with peak Arnold

I fucking love Twins, Junior, End of Days, Collateral Days, Eraser, The Sixth Days.

Shit, I even enjoyed Sabotage, Escape Plan and The Last Stand

I still need to see Maggie.

You missed Pumping Iron.

he's a big guy

His degree in Psychology.

He actually gives pretty good arguments towards Total Recall all being part of the promised fantasy in the commentary.

maggie isn't great. last stand and sabotage are ok though

I loved this movie.

What? It's probably in his top 3 movies, shit taste my friend

>mfw that Conan commentary

What are the best commentary tracks with Arnold?

>Stallone in guardians of the galaxy vol.2
When will arnold do a Capekino like his m8 SS? Will he be in MCU or in the future DCU?
Jingle All the Way was nice and comfy tbqh imo desu familia.

It's hilarious but the pacing is a bit off and the movie is far too long. Still is fun film regardless!

>What made him so good at picking winners?
Raw Deal
Red Heat
Kindergarten Cop
End of Days
Terminator: Salvation
Twins
Junior
The 6th Day
Eraser
Jingle All The Way
Batman & Robin
Collateral Damage
and so on
he's done far more duds than classics

Arnold and Milius discussing Conan makes me so fucking sad that they aren't making King Conan together.

So has De Niro at this point. Doesn't change the fact Arnold has an awesome filmography.

>kindergarten cop
>junior
>batman and robin
>eraser
>the 6th day
>end of days
>duds

The saddest thing about Ahnold is he could never get a sequel to Conan to work. I wanted to see him become king, but instead he became a dyke's sidekick. Fucking lame.

Maggie was disappointing, but it's worth it for qt zombie Abigail Breslin and Arnold tears.

Also, I loved The Last Stand. Far better than expected.

quality > quantity, but to get quality you have to sift through large quantities

you won't be able to appreciate quality unless you watch movies without it

>When will arnold do a Capekino like his m8 SS?
With time this is inevitable, he is going to be in either one or the other.
So I'm more interested in what kind of character he would play in DCU/MCU.
Maybe someone that know about comics can answer this question.
To which character does he has closely resembles? and from all his long acting career who he is more suited to interpret?

if you think kindergarten police officer was bad the list below pertains to you:

>white trash family with molesting father/uncle
>nigger daddy who abandoned you before you were born
>spic dad who abandoned you but only after beating your mom for many years. you still remember his name...Carlos

robbed childhoods are prob the worst posts on Sup Forums thats why i hate this place. people still hold on to the past

...

Kek, also check'ed.

>To which character does he has closely resembles?

Someone definitely from the Shi'ar Empire.

Or some rando in Planet Hulk, which would mean Thor 3.

Old Bat Man (Bruce Wayne) in Bat Man Beyond.

I think he'd be skeptical about doing more capeshit. The last one had a pretty cold reception

Isn't the cast already confirmed?

This can work.

See

ah come on, Raw Deal isn't that bad.

also the only reason anyone even remembers Batman and Robin is because of Arnie yuking it up as Freeze.

The ones where he just retells what happens in screen in first person

> Yeah, and heer i keel him with a saw blade, dat's kuul
> heer i jump in front of an exploshun
> and heer i get a bonah from Jamie dancing in front of me

>Last Action Hero
wew

>and heer i get a bonah from Jamie dancing in front of me

Imeegine.

I'm sure he felt chills from all of its negative feedback.

>00
0 C00l.

Based Arnold.

>still no Conan the Conqueror

you missed running man pleb

Arnold definitely has left the realm of mere mortals behind and has transcended into some higher plane of existence.

Stoned Arnold seems like he would be fun to hang out with.
