How do we fix this album?

How do we fix this album?

>Remove interludes
>Edit out necessary features
>Give songs a better order

>Make it more Gorillaz
>More Albarn
>Less rap
>Less collaborations
>More cohesion
Then the album will be perfect.

The best we can do at this point is to erase it. Its beyond repair.

Hey captain vague, you're needed somewhere over there

This, also
>Less DRUMPF

>take out momentz & hallelujah money

everything else is fine

I'll fuckin fight you mate, take out Sex Murder Party if you're trying to cut chaff not the best songs on the album.

Every song should mention Trump and white privilege
Guest rapper on every track
Last track should just be Albarn apologizing on behalf of the white race for 20 minutes
All profit from the album should be donated to liberal causes
9.6 BNM

I think the song can be recovered, maybe if we can remove Benjamin Clementine

>Sex Murder Party
>bad

>>Less rap
>>Less collaborations
>>More cohesion
Couldn't agree more.

Can someone point me to some good music editing/remixing software? I really want to take a crack at this.

>make it a Blur album

There's literally one white person on this album
>CUZ WE ALL KNOW DAMON WASN'T FUCKING ON IT

Holy shit I have Played like four times but nothings pumps my heart.
No ear worms yet.

>less rap
>less collaborations
>more bass rock

To be kinesthetic it felt like
Gorillaz: we want the black lives mater demographic.

The vive of this album is like party at Martin Luther King and main street block party

They literally featured a soundcloud artist and a girl with less than 1000 total views on all her youtube videos but they needed to have them for reasons

>tfw refunded tour tickets after hearing the album

...

2017 what a shit year so far.
Looking forward for the B sides
I hope this becomes a shit storm
I actually bought the album hopping horse hidden gems like on plastic beach.

Whats with the reddit tag?

less rap is always appreciated

>Hallelujah Money comes out
ok Damon is releasing the weak songs to soften the weak songs blow
>Album released
wtf I love hallelujah money

Are you black?

this

I don't follow

Why didn't you just stream it instead of actually buying it? After those pre-release songs I'dve had to be insane to commit to a purchase with hope.

Hallelujah Money has always been great though.

This. When I first heard Hallelujah Money was going to be on the album my heart sank. Imagine my surprise when I sit down to listen to the whole thing and it's actually one of the best songs. Christ, what a blunder of an album.

>More Albarn
>Less rap
>Less collaborations
The Fall proves that doesn't make a good album

>don't make it on a fucking ipad
That could help

01. I Switched My Robot Off (Intro)
02. Ascension
03. Strobelite
04. Saturnz Barz
05. Momentz
06. The Non-Conformist Oath (Interlude)
07. Submission
08. Charger
09. Andromeda
10. Busted and Blue
11. Penthouse (Interlude)
12. Out of Body
13. Let Me Out
14. She's My Collar
15. Halfway to the Halfway House
16. New World (Interlude)
17. The Apprentice
18. Ticker Tape
19. Circle of Friendz
20. We Got the Power

There's no cohesion besides most of the material around the album being "Fuck Drums, I'm scared", and cops shoot black people in the US. It feels like a party mix done by people that can't stop posting about the election on Facebook.
I wouldn't have liked it if it was released under a different project done by Damon, but at least then I wouldn't have been disappointed.

>Make an EP out of the bonus tracks
>Throw in Charger and Let Me Out
>Burn the rest

Even then the material would have no cohesion or anything going for it really. Nobody can deny that the tracks are musically uninteresting and the instrumentals are boring as all hell. Most features are either over- or underutilized. This has nothing to do with "This doesn't sound like gorillaz anymore ;___;". This is just bad music. The whole album is a playlist of shitty tracks that use the most boring EDM tropes. Any political message falls flat on it's face when it is presented in this shitty way. Sure the album has it's moments (just like any album) but the core is fucking boring and bad which is something nobody can fix.

give the album's masters back to damon albarn and pay him $$$ to spend another 15 months either working on humanz or start a new gorillaz album altogether

Start back at ground zero and have Damon seriously reconsider the notion of using his 17 year old daughter as a filter for the album's direction.

Should probably wait until the b-sides are released before trying to make a playlist off the album with the fat cut out.

It was always great. Ya'all are just faggots.

Fall was just Damon fucking around which he released for free. It shouldn't be compared to a proper album.

I like the fall more than this

Remove all the black people. Oh wait now there's only three songs with vocals.

I kept the interludes but edited some features out and added some remixes.

How did you get the colored background in iTunes

thats just how it looks when you open the album. It creates a background with all the colors in the album art

Garageband

ITT: triggered Sup Forums autists shitposting about a band they don't even care because "muh drumpf"

I thought they removed that ages ago. Maybe I need to install a new update.

I use Mixcraft

imagine actually believing this

>forgetting to add in out of body, one of the stongest songs if not the strongest

kek link to the youtube channel?

I mostly agree. I'm not sure that it needs less collaboration though, past albums have had plenty of features and other collabs and yet turned out well.

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ALBUM FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS AND I GET THIS SHIT?

Fuck Off

Sup Forums should make a edited "fixed" version of this album. I want rock see how it would turn out

I've got it like this:
Strobelite
Saturn Barz
Momentz
Submission
The Apprentice with the rap edited out
Charger
Andromeda
Busted and Blue
She's My Collar
Out of Body
Ticker Tape
We Got The Power

That way you get very minimal in your face politics.
I've also made an interlude out of Circle of Friendz, the whole thing is too boring.
And the intro to Halfway to the Halfway House is pretty cool I wan't to add them both in there somewhere.
I guess there's only so much we can do without instrumentals to work with.

01. Interlude: New World
02. Ascension
03. Strobelite
04. Out of Body
05. Interlude: Elevator Going Up
06. Momentz
07. Charger
08. Interlude: Talk Radio
09. Carnival
10. Let Me Out
11. Saturnz Barz
12. Submission
13. Interlude: Penthouse
14. She's My Collar
15. Andromeda
16. Busted & Blue
17. Interlude: The Elephant
18. Hallelujah Money

i found this tracklist to be the most exciting and best flowing version of humanz.
