Advice for giving Recs?
Not good at it
just do it

its all subjective really
If they don't have it, especially if its an artist not on their chart just give it man. Could be an absolute banger they'll love.

To be fair a lot of those are really good albums. It's just that he... ONLY has really good albums.
If it was only half Sup Forumscore I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

This track caught my interest cause it sounds a lot like modern synthwave (e.g. Perturbator) but actually came out in 1990.

How do i get into /bleep/?
need recs
Cardiacs - Sing to God
Most of the modern festival type electronic music is garbage fed to rich sorority girls that tried acid once. Ignore artists like Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, etc.
I'd personally say that the golden age of /bleep/ was between 1990 and 2000. Much of the electronic music during this period was geared towards or inspired by raves, so it's super upbeat and fun to listen to. That's because everybody was more or less on MDMA, which apparently makes for some dope-ass music.
I'd start with some early to mid '90s stuff, some of which I'll link below. And if you enjoy it, and you keep listening to it, I'm sure you'll eventually notice yourself listening to newer and newer music.
