Jupiter Ascending

Tell me something positive about this flick.

It ends

Beautiful world design.

fun designs for shit
good for laughs

shut up meg is actually ugly and cannot act

oh... positive.... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Took less than a minute. Impressive.

The villain does a good impression of a harry potter villain

The universe and the worldbuilding is nice, also the ship designs and other models are pretty cool.

I also have a thing for Mila Kunis.

But it's a really, really shitty movie with horrible acting, terrible pacing and a clusterfuck of a plot.

Sean Bean doesn't die

MILA KUNIS

Came to post this.

RedMan's hammy scenery chewing performance

He was the only person (maybe including the directors) who actually understood the movie

It's the best original space opera produced since The Fifth Element.

Fight me.

I still haven't seen it. Is this better or worse than Cloud Atlas?

Being #1 out of 1 isn't an achievement.

In all honesty, don't bother with Jupiter Ascending, it's a complete waste of time. If you thought Cloud Atlas was shit then you'll probably think this is just as well.

much, much worse

Had some neat sci-fi concepts, and some competently directed action sequences.

The real problem with this movie that it was geared towards women, and women don't give a shit about sci-fi. Caused a lot of issues with tone.

This is the correct answer.

>even comparing it
why was Cloud Atlas shit on again?

No, you can't say "haha dude the make up was bad because it was obvious the asian person was actually white" because that's missing the point, or say it was gay because that was a minor part of the story and it wasn't forcing anything.

This desu familiya.

I want to drink her whiskey

I watched it on an airplane flight and it kept me from thinking about how much I hate flying.
