I'm a basic bitch

bUmp

does mu only listen to pitchfork-core?

Wow, heck you, budddy.

Did you mean to type "popular music"? Because that's inevitable.

I don't get it, nobody goes on Sup Forums and insults people for liking Zelda and Silent Hill because they're well known. They'll insult you for everything else, but this intolerance of somewhat well-known music is too autistic for almost every other board but this one.

it's not an insult, just an observation

I mean, what do you advise that's non-ptichforkcore i guess?

Listen to what you want, but there's a lot more music out there if you dig through different labels on discogs.

I just seem to see the same charts over and over again. I'm not saying the music is bad, the charts just lack personality.

why 2013-2017

why not 2010-2017

good idea

r+7 is good innit

could never get into shrines, kind of wish her voice wasn't there but then it would be incredibly unoriginal, which i guess it already is...

what happened to the AOTY 2016 tournament?

All the other artists backed out when they found out they'd have to face Vektor

Its funny, I've definitely branched into a lot more experimental music lately (Ben Frost/Tim Hecker/Jefre Cantu-Ledesma/Prurient aka Vatican Shadow or whatever he goes by are my favorites right now) but I can understand that. I'm always looking for more music to listen to, so I'll browse for more shit.

The nostalgia factor is pretty big for me, otherwise I wouldn't really listen to Purity Ring. But I can understand the point of view that you are coming from towards them - their genre is pretty overdone and cluttered as it is.

Recs?

that isn't what happened

yeah i get that shit, emotions are a powerful thing especially when it comes to enjoying a piece of music

Endless summer will always be my favorite/one of my favorite albums of all time for the same type of reason

Check out the song Talamak by Toro y Moi if you havent already. we have really similar tastes.

hey you know... you're right

I don't think that's what happened either!

bump because @OP has his shit together

only one who is not a pitchfork drone in here

"that's it, come a little closer...."
*SNAP*
haha, you've been caught in my trap user!
now you have to tell me what happened, or else! only dubs can set you free otherwise.

ummm
the OP was probably too lazy to make the next thread?

What's your music list then, mr. anti-pitch4k drone?

any recs?
