Because get rich or die trying was not only fucking solid, it changed the whole rap game. Some people seem to have forgotten just how big 50 was when get rich or die trying came out, with get rich or die tryin managing to fuse being gangster but still having hooks catchy enough to gain mainstream attention.
It also changed direction on NY's hiphop identity crisis, help in the late 90s and early 00s (with mostly r&b and softer stuff, i.e puff daddy, ja rule etc) and revitalized hardcore hiphop.
Plus it's just a nice album, production is really good, every hook bangs, and 50 has a pretty distinct delivery and energy
