>12 golden country greats
>10 songs

What did they mean by this?

1) there are 12 collaborators / coutnry musicians featured on the album
2) they were just fuckin around

This is the album where Ween really hit their stride.

if your dad likes country you have to play this in the car one day

>I'm trippin. Writhin' and squealing, pewkin'

actually it is the fact that they recorded 12 songs and left 2 out.

I really don't even like country music, but i fucking love this album. Why does that seem to be the case with most people? Why does this album seem so great even though most country music has no appeal to me?

Because Ween made it and you're subconciously biased

You're probably right actually

*teleports behind you*
heh, nothin personnel kid

>Why does this album seem so great even though most country music has no appeal to me?
because you haven't really gotten deep into country yet.

are there any good country rappers? i remember that convoy song, that's a rap song really
country did rap before rap did

give me a quick rundown on the best country artists

Not him and not very knowledgeable about country but check out the Byrds and early '70s Stones for some excellent country-rock.

Hank Williams I&2, Cash, Jack Elliott, Townes Van Zandt, the list goes on

Jimmie Rodgers
Roy Acuff
Hank Sr.
Ernest Tubb
Willie
TVZ

...

Step your game up.

MY DINNER'S ON FIRE WHILE SHE WATCHES TV

Not a solid list.

-Nashville Skyline belongs in country rock,

-Shotgun Willie is a better Willie Nelson album,

-No Waylon

-Why Turn Turn Turn, Music from Big Pink and American Beauty?

- Where's Wilco's AM?

s/t is better than Big Pink desu

>tfw you cried so hard you look like a chink

>no Tex Ritter
>no Roy Rogers

MISTER RICHARD SMOKER

I just got into Happy Colored Marbles. I think it may be the best song on Quebec.

This. Mr Richard Smoker was on the encore of their Saint Paddy's day set in Chicago. Crowd sang happy birthday to Gener. Was a great night, made the Aragon sound wonderful.
