Chef? no you are not. A chef has incredible knowledge of food. You work a flat top grill, a fryer, microwave, and the register. You are not a chef.

What have you been doing with your life user, jesus christ.

Business Owner, yearly it varies but it averages to 120,000/year (CAD), 45-65hr/week

Dude I just flat out don't believe you. Sorry man. You seem like a swell guy though.

Also, I'm 30

I'm from the other thread:

senior it, mainly unix shop with heavy focus on devops shit. $125k
landlord, five properties, $60k
automated derivatives trader, I tweak / manage it during lunch breaks. $30k

Where the fuck do you work being paid 35k/year as a fucking EMT?

Everyone in So Cal makes fucking minimum wage on the box. Even medics for AMR start at like $11something/hour

Fake news. Damn elites, with their communication and all.

That's good money. I'm jealous. But it must be at least somewhat hard work to be worth that kind of pay. Last time I looked supply and demand still operated in this world.

What are the details of the rental properties? You clear 60k after expenses on 6 places?? I have 3 and definitely don't clear 10k per year on them but they're mortgaged.

That's the difference, for sure. All but one of my properties are clear now. I was in the 1k-5k.. or sometimes zero / negative as I was paying them off. Basically adopted a "no fun allowed" approach to my early financial life.

Apparently a homewares store plonked right in the middle of a upmarket suburb inhabited by the wealthy elite of my city and their bored housewives with nothing better to do than buy overpriced vases and throw rugs was popular enough to rapidly expand my business. Keep in mind, I also had around $30k saved up when I opened the first store, which made things much easier.

shit yeah I have a huge ego. I'm a fucking winner in life. A success. I can afford to have one. Why wouldn't I be shouting that whenever I can?

Chef just means Chief. Doesn't have to know shit, just look at the clowns on TV. Literally just needs to be the person in charge. Whoever is running that Wendy's kitchen is their Chef. Who's not a Chef is the dingus that works by himself. Personal Chef? Not a Chef. Gotta have indians to be a Chief.

On your way to being the next Annette Schwarz

Currently working with my brothers company

Install lights at Target, whole foods, TD banks and other misc places.

The pay for a target store is 3$ per lamp most stores have 500-1700 lamps (depends on if it's super target or not)

Some guys do 100 lamps a night I just started so I can only do 60 or so.

What the fuck

That's fantastic. Good work man. I'm cash flow positive on all 3 but not by much. On the other hand my mortgages are being paid by tenants so if I can be patient and not start paying extra on the principle then I'll have some houses free and clear in 20 years. Not sure if it's the best strategy or not. I'm somewhat at the mercy of interest rates so part of me wants to just pay them off…

clearly has shitloads in stocks.

Chef is a title you earn. Some get it by degree (culinary school) some by merit (master-apprentice). Calling someone Chef is a respect thing.

Nope sorry bro

No, the truly happy and confident don't need to make those doing less well feel bad. So that doesn't wash. The really successful don't need to run it in the faces of those doing less well. So, nope, your "fucking winner" line rings hollow.

Uncalled for.

I'm sorry you're not a success so nobody takes you seriously when you try to act like the egotistical wanker you clearly want to be, which is why you're so cut up when you saw me, someone who is clearly a winner in life and has the arrogance to act like the stuck up cunt you like so much.

It's not based on respect anymore. I don't care where you work. If you announce yourself as a chef you come off as poor as well as pretentious.

you wasted a bunch of money on a cordon bleu program and came out a dishwasher, didn't you?
