Doing it before sleep can be a good or bad idea, depends on how tired you are. Don't push yourself that hard, it's better to get rest, then study. What I do is I wake up early, get some coffee and start studying before I have to go for class.

When DS2 came out it collected much hate, mostly because it's not like DS1, which is still considered a masterpiece.
I played through half if the game and completely hated it. The graphics design was just shit in my opinion, the mechanics were retarded and the PvP... Oh don't get me started on PvP, I got PTSD from it.
Anyway, back then I thought it was trash.
Now that I "came back" to it, well...
I have to say B-Team (DS2 was not directed by the general director of DS1, that's why most people blame the game for) didn't do THAT bad of a job.
SOME mechanics were awesome, like powerstancing. Some locations were really nice, beautiful even. The story isn't really that good as in DS1 and some things don't make sense, but...
There are a few things that are good in this game. It's not shit-tier, definitely worth a try, but it's WAY easier (at least for me). The PvP meta isn't as much cancer as it was before, and there is a variety of weapons to choose from. The locations aren't THAT memoriable, but nice. The NG+ is interesting and worth it, and it's overall a 7/10 for me as of now. They handeled some things completely shitty (hitboxes are still more cancer than erp in this threads), but overall it's kinda worth it if you got a rig to run it on.
Sorry if I bored you to death, I get too excited when talking about Souls, I could go for days doing it, discussing lore and such ;-;

Best thing about DS2 was powerstancing, and DLC level design imo, but otherwise the level design is just awful. Also most of the enemies are placed in without any thought and there are always too many of them.

There were some good things too. The enemy respawn limit was for the worse players, they could farm, get lvl and somehow progress through the game. Also, same covenant summoning was a good idea. I heard the DLC's are the best part of the game, I'll have to look into them.
