car thread?

2014 M4 450hp. Bought it for 75k.

My parents paid half for it.

If this is even remotely true, you should have got the M2, better car for the money.

My 1998 escort XRi3 cabrio.Dad bought it 5 years ago for himself, now is my first car

2014 ford F150 with cloaking device

2017 Rolls Ghost Black Badge 624hp. Bought it for $350k

My parents paid for all of it. It's an ok car I guess. Not the one I wanted but it will work for my first car.

Why buy a maintenance and insurance nightmare?

2017 Bigatti Chiron 1500hp

My parents paid for all of it. Great daily driver.

>Bigatti
yuuuge

also, nice trips

people with maintenance problems are people who dont take good care of their cars.

Ive never had maintenance problems and I wont have it now with this BMW.

That thing is ugly as fuck

Dis guy here. Paid for all by myself cuz I'm not a rich fag.

...

fake. stolen of google images

fuckin private eye over here, no watson all holmes

the 3series went to shit when the F models were introduced. however, good performance. ugly as fuck tho

best in thread so far

i ride a bike

want a pickle?

your mum rides me

because it's the only real one?

thanks

Bought my ride for $1750 with 104k miles on it & changed the water pump. After some 3 piece wheels & pbm coils, I've spent a total of $3300.

Best of luck on that coupe deprecation, 75k is alot of cheddar to watch being nipped away. But I understand not everyone likes youngtimers.

nice. needs different wheels and a turbo

I drive a 2004 Xsara Picasso. Slow, second gear grinds every time you get near it, can't see in the back, lots of rattles and squeaks and sometimes disengages the gears by itself (it's a manual). But I still love that car.

Forgot pic.

kek

Just my Koenigsegg one:1 alright car
>inb4 Google images

mine

timestamp retard?

...

Where did the extra 25hp come from?

chiptuning

Fake, keked a little though.
What would you reply if someone asked, what you actually wanted?

E30 master race reporting. Kill yourself, faggot.

Cool

Appreciating classic

Kek. No shit

2006 Kia Sportage LX v6 model
Was dad's car. Now it's mine. Took pic from google images cause I'm not about to go outside and take a picture for a car that isn't glamorous. Dream car is a 240sx RB26.

Forgot pic

Had this as a matchbox toy.

Bmw maintenance is covered as long as your warranty. This includes oil, breaks, struts, everything really. That said, I'm trying to get rid of my 335i. In the past year I've had 4 different things go wrong. My brother in law didn't renew his warranty, strut mount went bad and he paid 1400 at the stealership like a dumbass instead of doing it himself. His water pump was over $2000 also.

If you wanted a fast limo, should've gone with the 17 CTS-V

>640 hp @ 6400 revs
>630 ft/lbs @ 3600

Yeah, honestly I've never jived with the looks of either of Bugatti's latest machines

Used 2003 Toyota 4runner. Paid just under $10k for it. Paid for it myself 'cause I have a job and I'm not a fag.

>2014 ford F150 with cloaking device
>cloaking device
not....not completely working

My car a few weeks after I got it. 2013 335i. Was going to do a jb4 and downpipe before I got tired of stuff going wrong.

...

theres literally nothing wrong with chiptuning. its even better for your car

Well, they charge you a lot in the us.
In germany, you can get those spair parts quite cheap. I am driving a mercedes, its really cheap. If i need something big, i go to the second hand spare part dealer.
But in the states i guess its cheaper to buy american cars.

Still a kek worthy post though

>people with maintenance problems are people who dont take good care of their cars.

"Maintenance" is taking care of a car. And the dealership should service these cars if you want it done right, and the dealership can be a nightmare. And it's expensive.

And it's a maintenance nightmare.

>Dad buys car for $3600
>drives too fast in snow
>car being towed out of ditch

Why not get hands dirty and do it yourself?

Better yet, why not get an E60 M5 and thunder away with 50 more HP stock?

If you drive a car properly then you will never run into maintenance issues.

Keep rpm low, don't rev with a cold engine, regularly check your oil etc

Paid $25k. Not a rich fag, just good with my money.

you forgot to say your parents paid for it.

25k for an M?

you are either lying or its a bodykit which is nigger behaviour

probably a blue title

>cloaking
missed opportunity for a camo joke user

>If you drive a car properly then you will never run into maintenance issues.

This could very well be the stupidest post on any auto thread, anywhere in the world.

All our automobile IQs just dropped 5 points for having read that post.

>people with maintenance problems are people who dont take good care of their cars.

Just what do you think maintenance is?

Is it something special to drive bmw in the us?

2008 Audi A4 S-Line

I paid $13,000 back in 2013, 1 owner before me, 68,000 miles

It's the fastest car i've ever owned but isnt actually fast. I've beaten all the suburau impeza faggots that try and race me off of red lights, but have had my ass handed to me by some Infinitis.

Pic related is exaclty mine, but this isnt my picture, i dont have any pictures of it cause im not a tool.

I'd rate it a 7/10 for a regular daily driver.

lol no. also nice trips

'71 Cuda.
440ci six-barrel Super Commando.
BareBones cam, new exhaust, air, oil and few other toys. 540 hp last time on the dyno.
Sounds like Thor him self.
And wrecks my wallet on every drive.
Payed 125 000 Kronor ( 13842 dollars according to google) about 5 years ago.

I have driven over 12 cars and never ran into maintenance issues cause i dont drive like a douchebag

>13842 dollars
wow. that makes me sick. that car would be worth easily 40k+ here in the states.

and that's being extremely conservative. depending on the options and state of the car, could go for over 100k

Yep they are up to around the same here now as well. Double that in Norway next door if I ever feel like selling.

2005 toyoto corolla CE!!!! got it for 7k 6 years ago or so i think.

I took out a car loan from the bank.
never had any issue but a broken muffler which got fixed for 120 dollars.

You had that one up for sale for a while didn't you? Like a year ago or something? I remember seeing it in WheelsMagazine for around 220k (sek)
Yes they have increased extremely much here as well. 5-10 years ago they cost almost nothing.

this is the 431hp version my friend.

Greetings from someone driving 16' F82 with Competition Package

>You had that one up for sale for a while didn't you?
Yes I did but got cold feet and changedm y mind. Haha you a Swede as well?
I'm at Power Meet every year if you wanna check it out. Not for sale though.

Did you consider the M4 GTS when making your purchase?

Lucky bastard. Those cars and many others are like fine paintings now, worth a shit load of money.
Got a Volvo 240 my self.. It's ok. No muscle car though.. And yes I'm Swedish. Göteborg born and raised.

Literally all it really says is "I'm a cunt" or "Mommy and daddy have too much money so they gave me a beemer"

10/10 would fellate you to drive it for a day

lol better than driving a scuffed mustang or chevy

i take a bus

Hey 240's are nice cars. Spent my 20's in one sliding around Norrland.
But yeah my Cuda has increased in value, just need new rear brakes and a latch for the trunk.

If he has the money to fix, maintain and insure the car then there's nothing wrong with him owning it. The problem with beamers and german cars in general is that they cost a shitton to maintain, so you get these faggots with a 16/hr job that go "Hey yeah! Look, I can buy this one for x a month or 7k! Check it out I have a beamer!" And four months down the road they don't know why they're broke

They are more expensive than American cars. Bought my 2016 BMW 535i for $62K.

recently traded my triple-black 350z for one of these. I loved the Z but couldn't be happier than I am sitting up high in traffic, or able to take my GF and another couple out to a national park for a weekend of camping and exploring.

You'll eventually miss something low, quick, and nimble. I did something similar but had both at the same time, ended up selling the car due to reasons and looking to get another later this year. I plan on keeping my truck though.

I plug my car into the wall when I'm not driving it.

Savin' money on gas like you wouldn't believe.

forgot pic

It's just a badge, they started putting them on other models, he even said in the first post it was a 335.

Honda civic

Currently have a 2015 Scion FR-S on lease. It's a fun car but I want more. I'm looking at this '08 Audi S5. ~100K miles, excellent condition, and extensive service history. Has the 4.2L V8, and a manual transmission. What does Sup Forums think?

>>/o/

But, if you're only owning them for a year or two, you can skip maintenance, dipshit. (making it so the car is worse off for the next schmuck that owns the car you neglected)

Repair ≠ Maintenance

One is not scheduled. the other is.

Common thing to hear:

Mercedes is the most reliable car in the world, it's why I buy a new one every year or two!

PROTIP: he doesn't really have a BMW M4

I'm pretty sure you don't know what maintenance is.

...

This is manual transmission with manual roll down windows, yes?

2012 Mini Cooper SD roadster. Parents didn't pay for shit cos 1 is dead and other is poor.

Stolen from Google images because it's fucking freezing outside.

People would sell these in Hemmings Motor News - would not dare try and sell them locally (although some naive elderly person might)

Tits or gtfo
