The new Mastodon album Emperor of Sand has a vaguely soulsborne concept of a wanderer getting cursed by a sultan and must journey through a wasteland of different locations to search for a cure. Each track of the album hints at different locations/events, some being a forgotten kingdom from an ancient time, several monstrous and godlike like entities, and a race of mysterious beings that aid the cursed one.
It also acts as an allegory for battling cancer, but the concept is intentionally left somewhat vague. Like in soulsborne games.

except BF 1 isn't better than 2
You literally can't refute this.

Funny how In both of these projects it's all about punishment and redemption.

SAW III confirmed
they're both shit?
Halo 3-Any industrial death metal
I have Witcher II but no Witcher I or III, should I play it or wait for having the I?
...
you know this actually works. running naked through the woods terrified of the night, while creatures that show no mercy stalk you at every turn.
That's actually why I think this album suits the game so well
Witcher 1 has aged horrendously and honestly wasn't that good anyway.
Just play 2 and 3, both fantastic games.
>bank your items!
you should read Dante and get some culture you pleb, that game is a fucking insult
I think pic related fits more. Bad Rats is just a nigh-unplayable bad game, but Takeshi's Challenge is almost genius in being a mess. It also had some legitimately innovative ideas (albeit not very fitting ones) and got some awards retroactively.

just playing 1 for the first time now its very good
Each to their own
Decent as RPGs go but the mechanics can be a pain in the ass.

MGS2 - Kid A
Terraria already has a GOAT soundtrack desu
Then why do they make 17+/M-rated games with mature themes?
I haven't had a TV since I was a teenager, so I don't play vidya. But I kind of want to just to play that Witcher series. I loved Jade Empire.
What's the video game equivalent of Wovenhand? What about Amebix?
The only sonic fan I ever met in real life loved Smash Mouth, so this is painfully accurate.

RTJ 2 is GTA IV
RTJ 3 is GTA V
SAW I works better for HL1 imo
SAW II for HL2 maybe?
fuck you
This
I think this could fit it as well
Some of the tracks in Fallout 1(The Mariposa Army base theme specifically) are actually Aphex Twin songs
goddamn, you hit the nail on the head
Mad Max and Speedböozer desu
witcher 2 and 3 are amazing, do rec both. you don't need to play 2 before 3 but it helps the story, same goes for 2 before 1
witcher 1 is pretty bad honestly, got lots of charm but it just doesn't play well in this day and age
>falling for the maturity in society meme
yikes lads must suck taking life so seriously
I didn't know about this album, thanks for sharing. I like Passion because asides from the desert feels, it really nails some of the stages you experience in the game. Even the apotheosis by the end.
Now that I think of it Spirit of Eden could work too.
>Mad Max
offtopic but goddamn that game was disappointing for a huge fan of the franchise.
Is there an album for this?
mount and blade is not that album
but it was fun
the convoys were great, but they made them side missions for some reason
