are there any other anime movies like akira and ghost in a shell ?
everything else ive checked out just doesnt come close to the level of animation skill combined with great story/concept.
are there any anime movies close to these 2 or are they really in a league of their own like it seems.
there are no other anime movies on the same tier in terms of design aesthetic and how good the story was.

I think you mean the art? Jin-Roh shares a lot of animators with Akira and Ghost in the Shell and is a great showcase of the realistic approach to animation.
