bump

I never have enough motivation to listen to music while I'm depressed.

:(

>tfw been all but completely alone for the past two years
>tfw resigned yourself to the fact that you will most likely never be a normal person with friends and relationships

post music for this feel

I too was once a teenager, OP.

Ebin comment tough guy

The Angelic Process- Weighing Souls With Sand

listen in the complete dark, with your eyes close.

It made me feel better actually

>No being depressed in your early 20s
Shouldn't you be on facebook right now? Or perhaps hooking up with your tinder date?

Giles Corey - s/t
Grandaddy - Sophtware slump
Carissa's Wierd - Songs about leaving

can i have your shit when you kill yourself

heard it

music certainly won't make me feel any better either way

I have been listening to this a lot lately wishing that Armageddon will come.

In fairness I was depressed into my early 20s, but as as 24 year old I'm now fine. I realised it's a meme and stopped caring.

I would stop caring but im a KV so yeah. Once that's taken care of I will become a positive nihilist. But that's Implying it will ever happen though lmao.

Really? i guess everyone is different.

the drone of the whole album, blocked out my thoughts and helped realized i need to get up and get moving again

I hope you find an album that helps

Have you heard Down Colorful hill?

>tfw you actually make an honest effort to improve yourself
>tfw it fails miserably and you feel even worse

I wish I could just die already

this post is not music related

Silencer - Death Pierce Me

I fluked a qt gf when I was 16 and somehow kept her for 2 years. Haven't had female contact since then at all but it's out my system now so I don't care for it. I get you in that respect.

Eh it's practically a feels thread tbqh. What have you been listening to lately?

I listened to some of it, it was okay

post-punk/new wave mostly

honestly I've kind of stopped looking for new music because i hardly even enjoy anything anymore, I only still come here because I like(d) music and have nobody else to talk to

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Joy Division - Closer

speedin bullet 2 heaven

>implying
I lost my virginity and it only made me feel worse

I wish I had a genuine reason to kill myself because I'd do it in a heartbeat

Your pathetic dude. Think about it for a moment. You were good enough for someone to enjoy your company enough to have sex with you. You should reflect on this fact any time you get sad. You should be as enlightened as The Buddha right now. SM ACHE @ your life right now.

yeah I used to post the same shit until I was on the other side

spoiler alert: giving your virginity to some drunk 5/10 girl is a fucking waste

Doesn't matter, still had sex.

fucking virgins

Fucking non-virgins being sad over nothing.

Emo Weed Man - Moon Man: End Times
Emo Weed Man - Moon Man Dos: Tale of Rage Man
Autotune Man - Filthy Soda Dos
Duke Sweater - Dislike Things Stay Inside: Songs from Duke Sweater
High Pitch - Triple Equis
Black Hippy Reject - Silver Dam
Manchild Maker - Ghoul
Senor Assbleach - Broken Heart
The Big Fella - Prepared to Pass
Black Person Y - Blackness and Heat
Jizzy Dude - Wet Knives
666 Yakuza - Psychic Stylus
Sensei BLM - Child from the Bad Place
Kid Nasty - Spawn of the Sky Man
Always $trive Deep - Fame

yes

>only can talk with people on Sup Forums
fuck mate, that's depressing

Spiderland for sure

i only cry to really normie classic sad hit songs like:

linkin park - breaking the habit
gary jules - mad world
etc.

you know you're really depressed when you just don't even care to find obscure music anymore

It's literally driving me nuts

I'm not even that autistic I swear, I'm just a transfer student at a school that doesn't give a single fuck about integrating us

Siamese Dream

That new Logic track about suicide, when he said "Who can relate!? WOO!". I wept into my hands then threw them up in the air in reply.

I was waiting for this post
Iggy Pop- The Idiot
is fitting for depression as well

Sit in the corner of your darkened room and listen to some hnw like the rita or some shit all day without interacting with other human beings. Do this for like a month or so and you will lose every feeling you ever had. Depression = cured.

This is kind of edgy but Im listening to this

it'll be better with time

yeah that's what I said last year

and the year before that

only good post itt so far
everything else is just music for anons who want to seem depressed but aren't actually and are just kinda sad or feel a bit of ennui (deathconsciousness, giles corey, et al.)

It actually does get better though

how you guys missed this one is beyond me

fuck. how long have you been there?
go out and get drunk at local pubs or go to shows or some shit

holy shit fuck off

im waiting pretty patiently
2 years
>drinking alone at (dirty, crowded, super fucking loud) college bars
no thanks
>local shows
non existent

I did ask a girl out though, she said yes and then proceeded to ignore my texts the next day

that's pretty much the extent of my social life here

>>local shows
>non existent
where the fuck are you? I live in a pretty small eastern european country and even here there are some dope local shows

I listen to Green Day, dude.
I'm biased cause they were my first favorite band, but they've always expertly conveyed that vibe of 'I'm singing this song as another fellow fucked-up young boy, man', especially on their albums from Kerplunk through Nimrod

i won't say exactly but it's probably one of the shittiest places in New York

I'd honestly listen to these

...

take some etilaam or clonazolam, listen to what you like, works for me

basshunter and groove coverage nightcore versions

I always come back to this track.

the noisy parts are cool

This is a lie. Time doesn't fix everything, hell it makes a lot of things worse. My life is only getting shittier. If i stay on this course I will likely be killing myself within the next year or so.

do you see a psychiatrist or a therapist

don't do it user. change uni or something, but a shit course is not worth dying for

solace by earl sweatshirt.

10 min long EP, absolutely beautiful.

People are just trying to reassure you. It's the only thing a stranger can do. I know time doesn't heal all wounds, and so do you. I just have empathy for a stranger and don't want you to suffer. I don't know if things will get better, but I hope they do for you.

No. I don't see much point in seeing one either. Why should I pay someone to pretend to give a shit about my problems? They will also likely try to force me to go antidepressants which I refuse to do. I would sooner choose death over artificial happiness.

goood pick
don't kill yourself OP, talk about it w/ a professional

anything by Interpol

A lot of Tom Waits earlier stuff is very dreary and depressing.

I don't like shit I don't go outside

Because payment doesn't constitute caring one someone's part. I've had shrinks paid out the ass who couldn't care less about the things I spoke about to them, and now I'm with public care representatives who put my faith back in people.

Anti-depressants don't give you artificial happiness, they don't change who you are, they don't take away from you. You use them to supplement the attitude you hold towards getting better.

Take it from someone who's been doing this for more than ten years.

There are a lot of jaded people in the medical field, but out of them, there are even more decent people.

You aren't relinquishing who you are as a person by choosing to take a medication that helps you deal with depressive symptoms, man. I had that problem going into it and spoke with my doc about it, he said it was nothing like that. And really, it's nothing like that.

As far as depression goes, I wouldn't wish it on someone I hated, because I know exactly what it feels like. You would never wish that kind of pain on someone, because it unmakes you.

Hang in there, talk to people more, consider therapy at least at first. Then move onto medication if it's appropriate. Just, hang in there. Don't be a faggot and end shit just because it isn't or hasn't been going the way you've wanted it to for an extended period of time.

It's embarrassing to wake up in the hospital with one tube shoved down your throat and one shoved up your dick.

Shit does get better.

Nakes City - Absinthe is a pretty eerie album. I guess it fits depression kinda well.

nah. lil peep is just some instagram-tier irony goth. I enjoy his music tho

Jen Champion/S

I have always been cynical of antidepressants, then my best friend who was on them killed himself. Now my hatred for them is religious and I openly advocate against them whenever they are brought up. I'm sorry but I will never take them clearly they are no good.

Penderecki

>I used to be a little boy

This along with The Fragile

Closer is the eternal best depressioncore album

depressing lyrics paired with driving synths is my thing desu and I find Soft Cell an unlikely source of this kind of music

>He sees the things that pass him by
>And the things that he'll never own
>Everyone has and he has not
>So he lives in a world of his own

>And he's at an all-time low
>He's in a world of his own
>He's in a hell of his own
>He watches the clock and watches the time
>Watches life slip by on the assembly line
>And the youth he's never known

>Life never changes
>Forever the same

literally my life fucking kill me lads

This album made me feeling a new level of negativity and depression

Very cathartic album
