This was better than Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

This was better than Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

>this turd is better than that pile of shit
Ok

>I'm overly negative about everything so that means I'm smart

Unironically grow up.

I agree, Kiss Kiss reddit reddit is not really that good

Sorry I'm just not a man child that is entertained by this garbage. It was terrible in so many ways.

havent watched kkbb, but this was fun, good fun.

>Sorry I'm just not a man child

>I just hate everything 'cause I'm above being entertained xD

Unironically stop posting, then grow up, then if you fail, consider suicide.

It doesn't have rdj of course it's better

KKBB was better but they're both good

>being this much of a bitch about a shitty movie
You need to go back

>reddit reddit bang bang was better than the reddit guys
au contraire reddit

Yes

>turd, shit, garbage, terrible, bitch
>I'm not a man child

You remind me of those teenagers who watch too much House M.D. then think they're being clever by being ironic and cunty about everything, as if that's a form of intelligence, but can't actually come up with responses when questioned about their behaviour.

Unironically, call me so I can myself kill you.

I saw a lot of people complaining about this movie's portrayal of "children" and the way they talked about sex. The movie itself reminded me of Boogie Nights, which if I remember correctly was also set in the 70s, and dealt with the same themes, the idea that the porn industry was booming and how exposed it was (Dirk gets recuirted when he's 17).

Also the scene with the boy talking about his dick reminded me of my childhood A LOT. Growing up in public schools I saw boys wipping their dicks out in the bathroom and talking about fucking before I turned 10. When I was 11 some of them pretended to have sex with their desks and all of my friends had already been fully exposed to pornography.

Apparently some people never had to deal with the actual world.

Thoroughly loved this movie! Too bad not a lot of people went to see it.

>consider suicide
>I'll kill you

Easy edgelord

Shane Black is based. I hope he makes more comedies.

this was very lebowskiesque. i liked it.

It was a fun movie, nothing spectacular. Anyone shitting on it is a whiny little bitch, it was way better than you deserve.

No it wasn't; that was it's problem. It's essentially a remake that isn't better

OP here, that's the same way I felt about Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, a fun movie with clever jokes and some unpredictable moments (see: When RDJ shoots the guy they're supposed to get information from, or when Amelia gets killed), but I felt The Nice Guys was more straightforward. KKBB can be very self indulgent, almost masturbatory. That ending most of all.

Is it available to rent yet? I'd like to see it.

Yes it was. Amazing movie

Yeah it reminded me of a good Coen bros comedy, Burn After Reading-esque

Any lewds of Angourie yet?

I'm going to watch it tonight. I'm excited

>tfw you WILL be happy

no it wasnt but it was still good

what the fuck am I reading? since when is kkbb reddit-tier? Sup Forums loved it when it came out before rdj became a megastar

yes

"Sorry Mr March, my sister had a boy over so she kicked us out."

"Your sister's such a slut!"

"Yeah I know.."

You're responding to children that came from reddit

Time to go back to ,reddit

after watching The Nice Guys, I realized why I was not impressed with Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang: The stories for both movies are needlessly complicated, too many jokes are beaten to death to the point of becoming a nuisance (Val Kilmer is gay hahaha, Ryan Gosling screams like a girl hahaha), and he constant whiplash between goofy buddy comedy and gritty serious drama which made my head spin. Not to mention that both moves just lacked focus in their writing. Lethal Weapon these movies aren't.

...

There's nothing Coenesque about this movie, other than the quirky detective stuff. The jokes, delivery, dialogue, thematic approach, characterization, etc. Not really similar at all

watch it again faggot. it's very similar.

No it's not. I've seen nearly the entire filmographies of both Black and the Coens. They are not similar, and Burn After Reading and ESPECIALLY Lebowski have very little in common with Blacks buddy crime capers

Probably my favorite movie this year.

>tfw you share a board with all these fucking plebs with such bad taste

>having bad taste
>on Sup Forums
Pick em both

This and the BFG were the most annoyingly under appreciated movies of the year.

I agree with the plot being needlessly complicated, to me that falls into what I mentioned here , the self indulgence and Shane wanting to be really, really smart. But I think the characters are the strongest aspect of these movies and not the plot.

It's a shame that this came out to basically no fanfare
I guess it's not enough to just make a good movie

> gets btfo 3 times over

B-b-ut YOU an edge lorde DDDDD:
