Chicken and rice sounds great! Don't over do it on the sauce though, especially if it's from the mystery fridge! I often times put way too much soy sauce on rice.

I definitely agree with some of the points about combat, mainly the whole poise thing. They completely changed how it worked (meaning it pretty much didn't work) and they game did have a lot of balance issues with the weapons. It never really bothered me though, whenever I met another player I just sorta expected to lose. It really wasn't about winning with the best gear, but winning with whatever stupid shit you could think of, no matter how annoying it was to deal with. But then again I'm the type to play something that no one else plays just to feel special, so my opinion is shit anyways.
As for the music, I'm really surprised. Most of the songs were instant hits for me that I listen to every couple of weeks. It can get kinda samey but I like that in a song.
