Yes. I had one with "takes first time shots" who got me 10 goals a season. This was in a 5-2-1-2 with the strikers going wide and the AMC roaming. Opened a fair bit of space for the B2B.
Keep it simple with the instructions.
Just a quick glance and I can see gaps. I'd change the AP to support, and change both fullbacks to support.
I'd maybe change one of the wingers to support as well.
A quick diagnosis shows use of wingers. That is always inadvisable.
However, a basic change is that a Poacher in that system doesn't fit. If you use attacking wingers you need someone who'll hold the ball and find them. Or, if you must use a poacher you need to use wide players who'll find him, rather than attacking wingers running into his space and doing all the work themselves. In that case, a wide midfielder can find the poacher and give him more room. With an added bonus of giving the wide-midfielder's side's full back license for a more attacking role. You can use a lop-sided formation with the left winger given all the space up the left to run into, and leave the right winger further back, giving the poacher space on the right to move into. This creates the need for a more mobile runner than a CM(s) to run the middle from deep.
My point is, that front three as it is are just going to be running forward, with no horizontal movement.
And experiment with your defensive mid role. BWM(d) can work, but if you're doing badly, try using a proper holding role.
