Not a good deal. Picked up one at Guitar Center for $299

You can get epiphones a lot cheaper than that but if that is the kind you want and it's in good condition then go for it.

In the US you can get a used one for $450 all day long. The Sheratons are a bit better than the shit tier regular epi 335's. However, since they the epi and the Gibson are all laminate tops, you did right. Put the burstbuckers in and update your pots and you basically have a Gibson 335.

i got a second hand epi for $200

Pfff, Epiphone?

I live in Chile, here everything is a pain in the ass to get and also expensive as fuck

Where I can find burstbuckers and which ones you recommend me? Here in chile get any parts is almost impossible but maybe import them is not as expensive

Wow its beautiful, im in love

You'd be better off with a mexistrat for that price range. Unless your looking for the hollowbody/archtop sound.

Thanks, its a 54' Gibson ES150

Must be like listens god's voice

That seems like a reasonable price reduction, although I'd ask for an additional $100 off

Ppppfffpfpfpfffffff

Sorry dude, you got scammed.
Unrelated which one of these should I buy?

I'd go with the jackson or ibanez. You don't want to play metal on an SG or les paul, trust me.

Yeah the Jackson or Ibanez. Epi's and squires at that price are a bit shit.

Get the Les Paul

>You don't want to play metal

>you don't want to play metal on an sg
Nigger pls

It depends on what your going to play. If your a big Jimmy Page fan for example its unlikely a superstrat is going to please you. Assuming you have no specific preference go for the Ibanez or the Jackson

Is that Sasha Grey with Stan Lee?

Not an epi SG with shit action and single coils, definitely. And there are much better, cheaper metal guitars, especially from ibanez and jackson.

bitch metal be invented on tah sg

My list of best to worst:
Jackson/Ibanez
Epi Les Paul
Epi SG
Squier

true the sg and les paul in THAT list are rubbish

mah guitars

Only Squiers worth buying is the classic vibe series

What kind of tool spends a grand on a guitar?

Mainly. Although I used to have an old indonesian squire that was good.

A non poorfag

I wont spend a grand on a guitar, here in chile costs like that, and everything around that category

PRS? More like Please Rape My Wallet

Nope. Absolutely nope. JV, SQ, Protone, some Koreans but not all, the Standards are mostly OK particularly the Chinese, Indonesians variable, Deluxe model is great, Vintage Modified models also. Classic Vibes have weird Tonerider pickups that sound bad to me. And I've seen some dodgy fret work on them. Newer ones are better.

Hey OP, own a 2004 Sheraton. Generally great build guitars, sometimes the pickups can be dull, muddy. If yours sounds OK then it's OK! If not, cheap improvements are the Guitarfetish (GFS) Vintage 59's or Fat Pats for fatter sound. I had Vintage 59's in mine for a while and liked them. You'd have to pay a lot more to get better, i.e. Gibson, Bare Knuckle.

I never understood why guitarists settle for less? I mean, I could understand if it was an original 60's Epiphone Casino or something, but why not just save the fucking additional 600 bucks and by a used 335 off ebay? Trust me the difference between an Epi and a real Gibson are lightyears apart.

Buy it now - 2016 dot with hard shell, $1299...stop being a cuck.
