When did you realise that their first two albums are actually rather good?

Literally the Nickelback of soft rock
Nickelback is the Nickelback of soft rock.
>Definitely Maybe
>soft rock

>When did you realise that their first two albums are actually rather good?
1995
Non-Brits will never truly get Oasis or what they stood for and represent
Are you seriously trying to make the case that this is anything but generic, faggy-ass soft rock?
t. Slipknot fan
Again
>Definitely Maybe
>soft rock
u wot m8? You can call it generic or shit or whatever but it's not soft rock. You can argue this is soft rock:

But you can't seriously argue this is soft rock:

Slipknot is also soft rock. Fuck'em.
Faggy guitar tones and an even faggier vocalist. It's soft rock.
t. Anal Cunt fan
>everything I don't like is soft rock
Come on, senpai. That's retarded logic and you know it. I hate Linkin Park but I would never call them soft rock.
>Oasis
>good
Linkin Park are Adult Contemporary
What?
Why would I ever listen to an Oasis album?
t. Juggalo
SOTSOG isn't bad either.

And this is objectively their best song:

Did you get bullied by juggalos or something?
t. Monty
That's not how you spell my name... I mean his name
Didn't even say that. Anything below 80 BPM is fucking soft rock. Or shit. Pick either one, they're synonymous.

I'll tell you what, I'm amazed Noel managed to last as long as he did before walking out on the band. Either the rest of the band are the soundest lads going or he must deep down really care about his brother.
God damn, Noel's slowly losing the will to live through these
Without Noel's songs you don't have those albums bro
when did you realize that suede are better?
When I first heard Suede
In 1995. Coincidentally, all their other albums are great as well.
Their later albums are actually rather better. For the most part anyway.
>ywn see Oasis live in their prime in a disgusting little NYC nightclub
youtube.com
why live
>tfw I once saw their fat brother in a shitty Amsterdam club
life is futile
One of my former teachers saw them pre-Definitely Maybe at a student night thing at his uni with 2 or 3 other bands for like £5 or something.
I actually used to work with a guy who saw them live at the Chicago stop of that tour.
It's pretty weird to think that they were seen as an exotic "alternative" band in the US at that time despite already being popstars in the UK and much of Europe, and despite there not being a trace of anything "alternative" in their sound.
NOW THAT YOU'RE MIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEE
WE'LL FIND A WAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
OF CHASING THE SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
This. They are the ultimate British band for the working class, which unfortunately means about a third of their fan-base are only a fraction better then the types you see on Jeremy Kyle
Name two superior B-sides.

You can't. You fucking can't.
Oasis really fucked up by putting most of their good songs on the b-sides so they ran out of them pretty quickly
They could have easily put out another album on par with the first two if they were smarter with how they released all those songs.
It's not even like they had some sort of a rigid rule as to how new a song had to be for them to put it on a new album, considering that some of the shit on Be Here Now dates all the way to like 1992 or 93. They were just ridiculously arrogant and self-assured.
Why did Liam keep sabotaging every opportunity they had to establish themselves as a major band in the US?
Because he's a knobhead
Most likely to piss off Noel and Alan McGee.
UK bands that make it big in the UK and Europe always end up getting pressured by their record labels into making themselves likeable to Americans, and I imagine Liam's antics were a way of him telling Creation to go fuck themselves.
this isn't all that different from how liam usually behaved
americans literally just can't handle the banter
MFW Liam is just there, standing, like a plank.
It's true, but those are their only good albums
