ah, finally...a world without plebs.

you misspelled post-punk

listen to this albums, hopefully that change your mind

*deletes vocals*
finally I can hear ozzy's sabbath era

I think it was one of those efforts to prove to naysayers that they were a "serious" band and had range.

Ozzy might be the most overrated metal vocalist of all time.

You mean Phil Anselmo.

He's massively overrated too.

I listened to most of these records. They suck.

I think listening to dudes with no real problems screaming over overly-technical guitar playing to be incredibly sterile and boring, but I guess kids these days will be fascinated by just about anything if it's edgy enough. It's a shame so few metal bands have an understanding of what makes for compelling songwriting and instead focus on either noodling for 40 minutes or just copying Black Sabbath and Judas Priest but with a slight twist.

Only good record on there is Jane Doe. But that's post-hardcore, not metal.

I don't really know any metal vocalists who imitated Ozzy, but practically everyone to have come along since the 90s copied Pantera's vocals and guitars to the point where it became sickening.

None of these are bad

metal for metal apologists. Not that there's anything wrong with that. just don't like those bands too hard or a bunch of autistic kids will call you a faggot.

Yeah, the whole """Tough guy music""" thing was one of the worst things to happen to metal.

All of these are middle school-tier garbage

Not so much that as the fact that VDAP came out 25 years ago but metal bands have somehow not been able to move past that sound just as bluesmen for some reason are still trying to sound like Stevie Ray Vaughn all these years later.

Wow great argument fagtron you sure convinced me with those hot opinions

Have a pity (you)

At least come up with a reason why they're bad.

Don't pity me, I'm not the one listening to metal.

I mean, you can't be over 15 and listen to this juvenile shit

And you can't be over 12 years old and post the kind of shit you do thinking you're actually making a valid point or convincing anyone.

Enlighten me with your superior grown-up music, m'sir.

More grown up than meal?
I guess maybe Raffi, Lazy Town.

I don't spoonfeed kids sorry

He can't name more grown-up metal because it doesn't exist ewe

*deletes filler*
it's an EP now

>72627621
You're still a cockgobbling faggot, regardless of what you listen to.

Actually it's a vinyl with no etching.

>metal pleb calling someone a faggot when someone doesn't like what he likes
what a surprise uwu

Guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suite.

>4 changes 4 supernauts

>You're still a cockgobbling faggot
sorry, I left out an adjective

Who rates Phil Anselmo??? Who?????

I mean, he only influenced an entire generation of metal vocalists.

Perfect. Trying to decide which is better

>alternate between both songs

Or

>have one song on each side

I feel personally attacked by this picture.

>he's never gone through changes

Some whitetrash deadbeat with a pound of meth would've been a better influence.

Feeling triggered, cuck

me too thanks

>Dudes with no real problems
That's why you listen to powermetal. There's no problems in there.

u r litcherally a plantain

Yeah, he birthed the abomination known as groove metal.

I FEEL UNHAPPY

>metal plebeians gatekeeping through an appeal to virility despite listening to a genre of escapist music practically created for manchildren.

>72628361
It's nice that you're just giving out free (you)s, i really appreciate it.

doubt it

>dimebag's playing style and the groovy drums did that.
I give phil zero credit

Eh.

Me. Phil Anselmo changed the fuckin game, he brought the fury and intensity that still to this day define metal vocals. There are few more expressive vocal tracks across any genre than Stone The Crow, he were mad as hell and yet still managed to convey feeling miles beyond what could be achieved by most of the wailing rock frontmen and warbling diva whores who are more typically regarded as great singers.

It was the catalyst for a lot of wannabe tough guy faggots and whine-screaming core kids that went some way to ruining metal in the 21st century, but what can you do everything good inspires shit.

>dudes with no real problems screaming over overly-technical guitar playing
Do you only listen to three chord ditties about being sad?

Nope.

are you 15

probably, he listens to metal.

>not deleting hip-hop

That's a pretty diverse bunch of stuff on there, I'm not sure you can pigeonhole it so easily.

Elder is the best thing that exists in metal at this point in time, have you listened to that one?

Nah. Unlike metal, hip-hop actually had a lasting impact on culture.

28. Don't ask why I'm still here at this age, I don't have a good answer to that.

That's not really that old, honestly.

I feel pretty old here, I'm pretty sure I should be doing something more useful with my time.

yeah, it made everyone glorify and accept filthy nigger behavior because muh cultural sensitivity

kek

I'm 20, and I feel old on Sup Forums.
Most of the people here are either underage or acting like it.

Only you can give yourself the determination to do that. If you want to leave, don't hope for it, and fucking do it. You won't be missing much honestly.

How surprising, the metalhead's a bell-end, too.

I don't really need a motivational speech, I'm only here now for the /prod/ threads which I use because of something productive I do. I always get drawn into shitposting when I'm here though. I guess it reminds me of the days when I used to basically live on this site.

Where is your line between technical become wank? Seems pretty fucking far down if you think most of the stuff on the nu-male chart is too technical.

>How surprising, the metalhead's a bell-end, too.
look, the nigger lover is defensive about his undying lust for bbc

>Not deleting all music

and not become

why are you so mad lmao

you ever ask yourself why you started getting so angry at black culture? Is it a scapegoat for your own inadequacies?

I don't listen to three chord ditties about being sad, so I said I didn't. Where does "mad" come into play?

ITT

no its because niggers look and smell like ass

>submissive, passive, boring, but outspoken
God there is far too much of this shit in the world these days

kys

sounds like your mother ewe

>one step above fedoralords
Wow, your image just called metalheads worse than nu-males.

>20-30 years old
>favourite method of activism is complaining
>submissive, passive, boring, but outspoken
>think they are all unique individuals despite looking exactly the same
applies to most people on here

>saying this on a site thats basically "escapism for manchildren: the web forem"

Loving every laff

never said it wasn't. But trying to exclude people on the basis of manliness when you're listening to metal (or browsing this board) is indeed fucking hilarious.

most people here aren't activists my man

it's a meme, don't get so flustered over it.

No u

I was shitposting m8.

most people here complain a whole fucking lot.

>implying I haven't shitposting the whole thread to make an actual metal discussion either unpleasant or impossible

And besides, what is activism if not trying to change things?
You could try to directly change things you don't like, but I think complaining is a valid form of effecting change.

>not outspoken
>don't really complain; when i do, i know it isn't activism

The rest applies to me

This whole thread is a giant shitpost

I'm ok with it
