my advice is to get comfortable enough that you don't need to pay active attention. watch a youtube video while playing, and try to get to a point you can play what you want wihout it being the only thing you're paying attention to.

Well the drum I play with is locked in a room at my temple. The problem is, it's night, in the hood. Yes, my temple is in the bad part of town, but luckily the safest area.

Yeah, keyboards are pretty expensive. I have a guitar but I never play it
