>Anderson
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

Definitely his weakest film but its not too bad.

You forgot the Darjeeling Limited.

what's his best, tho? I've only seen The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Royal Tenenbaums, imo. Think it best captures his sense of humor.

I would say that one or Royal Tenenbaums. Rushmore has a lot of fans but I haven't seen it yet

>Fincher
Alien 3

By far his worst film, but not really his fault (Se7en proves it)

>Kubrick
Full Metal Jacket
I don't know what he was trying to do with this abortion of a film. But the rest of his films are untouchable.

2bh every Scorcese movie after the 1980s is mediocre at best with the exception of Bringing Out The Dead.

>shutter island
>wolf of wall street
>hugo
>gangs of new york
>the departed
>Life Aquatic
>not his best movie

I liked Boxcar Bertha a lot. If Scorsese made a bad film (still debatable), that Age of Innocence movie would probably qualify. And I was not really a fan of Shutter Island.

That's actually his best movie.

>By far his worst film
Alien 3 has more artistic credibility than Benjamin Button, The Game and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo merely for the shot it took at fedorahotpocket culture with the offscreen killing of their "based" "comfy" characters.

>implying those movies are bad

Everything Scorsese's done with Leo has been objectively bad

You lack insight about cinema.

Boxcar Bertha, a film that was technically a B-movie better than Age of Innocence? Come on.
Okay, stupid opinion but i understand it. But implying that Hugo is 'bad'?

...

>But implying that Hugo is 'bad'?
It's worse than just "bad". It's a humiliating catastophe for all involved.

wtf does that even mean, you dolt?

Back to Sup Forums you go, cinema embryo.

>IF IF TELL HIM TO GO TO ANOTHER BOARD THAT I CLAIM TO HATE THEN IT WILL HIDE THE FACT IM TRIGGERED

I'm saying that Scorsese showed more promise and verve in Boxcar Bertha, arguably his first "real" film" than Age of Innocence, which was very ambitious but ultimately misguided.

...

I bet you two also think PTA is great, don't you?

>Full Metal Jacket
>bad

You obviously don't get it, man

Posts like these are what this board needs more of.

Zero tolerance should be given to IMDB sensibility posting. Bring out the big guns without a moment's hesitation and send the cheeto dust smeared autistics writhing back to their den of depravity.

No.

Why?

What am I not getting ?Please enlighten me reddit.

Full Metal Jacket

The film that was literally unanimously approved by Vietnam vets for being the most accurate depiction of their experience..... bad....

You'd have to be a retard to be a soldier so it makes sense that a bunch of retards would like a bad movie,

>the problem is the world not me

Please grow up kid

What do vietnam vets know about what constitutes quality cinema? lmao

hoenstly, fuck scorsese for remaking infernal affairs and ruining it

>muh chink flick
Can't stop laughing and neither can every other non-virgin.

You should be honored that Scorcese took your chopsuey bullshit and then made it into an actual movie.

I've pounded more pussy than your puny limp dick will ever see

>unironically preferring an americanized butchered version of a hong kong masterpiece

>subhuman race
>capable of producing a masterpiece on the level of the GOAT american auteur.
Stay cucked buddy. I've literally raped and killed woman and got away with it.

Nolan and interstellar

First act was fucking flawless

second act it goes a definite dip in quality, so i guess i could see how it could be his weakest

De Palma>Scorsese

>heavy handed
Are you implying the flashbacks to things we saw an hour ago, and laborious slow-mo deaths and music to tell you how dramatic this is were not heavy handed?

Infernal Affairs is a silly cop-vs-criminals movie trying to elevate itself through sheer force of will. It's not at all above a remake

what's a Sup Forums?

Killers kiss was pretty mediocre.

Killers Kiss was dogshit, nobody would ever see it if it didn't have Kubrick's name on it

>Leone
The Colossus Of Rhodes
