You can collect all of them in a set and craft them together for some rewards (chat emoticons, profile background pics, badges). It's entirely pointless so you have the option to sell them for a few cent on the marketplace. This may sound not much but it adds up overtime and you can get a game probably in those big sales if you sell a fuckton of cards.
Protip: never use the gem option. Pointless
