it was cheesy and repetitive

just like MCU

It was better than Event Horizon, that's for sure.

Because masses wouldn't like it. It's too subtle for the average popcorn eater.

critics are stupid hacks

I've actually asked /lit/ what their favorite Sutter Cane book was before.

...

Are you talking about capeshit?

...

I loved the first half, especially the part when they just get into that spooky town. Then it became too whacky for my taste.

...

Sam Neill strikes me as having lived a really chill life. Did a few pretty good movies in his heyday, was successful but never pain-in-the-ass famous. Now runs a winery and does whatever projects he feels like.

I wish those would actually exist in real.

The covers were great.

I could swear I remember there being a Goosebumps book by this title.

...

exactly...it looks even better than most horror covers i've seen.

Given RL Stine's complete lack of original thinking, I wouldn't be surprised by that at all.

FUCKING BASED

>i have no clue why
>but its still one of my shitty life goals to have all of these "books" just sitting on my bookshelf in my house
>and have no one ever question them

Tons of horror classics have been misunderstood by critics. John Carpenter's The Thing is a nearly flawless horror movie but retard critics said "it's too gory! It's too bleak! There isn't enough character development!"
