Is True Detective Season 2 worth watching?

Is True Detective Season 2 worth watching?

Yes, just don't expect it to come close to season 1.

I agree. It's aight but don't go in expecting season 1 tier or else you'll be disappointed.

No.

What's wrong with that cat?

I wouldn't recommend watching it stoned if you want to have any idea what's going on.

it's a frog

It's a slightly above average detective story. Slightly above average.

It's quite clearly an archaeopteryx

It's not as bad as some think, but it's also not the kino the the contrarian memesters here say it is

far better on the emotional side than season 1.
the rest doesnt hold a candle to s1, maybe velcoro's character is better written than marty and rust, but thats it.

Rub-a-dub-dub, bunner.

No.

nojk...yes

Is this a cat or a rabbit?
I honestly cannot tell

Hmm well the greatest part of the donut is the hole inside, the emptiness that you feel when you're laying awake at night thinking to yourself is it worth it? What is worth anything? Maybe we're like the hole, a big nothing.

The greatest thing about TD S2 is Vinceposting. Caspere knew this.

forgot to post image, but maybe that was the point, the hole, the emptiness.
Caspere knew this. His eyes were wide shut, like the case.

Not those, the uh uh uh the Nikes. The fucking Lebrons or whatever.

yes. it's actually very rewarding. Season 1 started out strong and ended on a weak note, whereas season 2 is the opposite. last 4-3 episodes are great.

why is this rabber so comfy???

also the end of the story was way grittier.
by the time the true detectives got behind all the happenings it was too late.
watching my niggas velcoro, frank and the godwarrior die was really depressing

the film noir style and story are great

Just finished it tonight and rachel mcadams is really qt.

I also really liked colin farrel's character

I just think it's ironic that a lot of what people complained about Season 2 is what I already hated about the first season, mainly the overly melodramatic, up their own ass Philosophy 101 edgelord characters

Nails was based until the end. Who was Godwarrior? Why dont I remember that character?

also

Frank's death walk is one of my favorite scenes, any media. No joke.

woodrugh the gay cop.

farrell mentions him once and calls him godwarrior because he basically killed all the thugs in episode 4 shooting

yea nails was cool too. closer to the end i always had the feeling franks wife is gonna get got by the mexicans or nails is gonna betray them, but she got away alive.

agreed

kek, forgot about gay cop. RIP Tim Riggins

I was happy with how they explained Nails' loyalty, and his nickname.

a darker confidential l.a.

i thought vince vaugn was perfect for his role, then i went online and everyone sdaid he was shit, what gives

They can't get wedding crashers and Jurassic Park 2 out of their mind

Did Owen Wilson ever show up? I can't remember now.
