Was he actually great or just a meme?

Was he actually great or just a meme?

I love Vivaldi.
what about him do you think is potentially meme-ish?

Invented the violin concerto and Bach borrowed his tunes, fairly great.

You're all proving my point

How

he probably didn't even know how to play that guitar

holy fuck is that Michael Cera

He seems like the type of dude to bring his guitar to parties

I think we can all agree he was kind of a one hit wonder.

Too edgy. Is there any ambient classic?

Which one of his four best known violin concertos is the one hit?

The Four Seasons are all pretty cool bits, but if you have listened to the rest of his work compared to the guys that came after him in the baroque era...it just feels like he didn't explore as much as they did. But it's at the same time justified, too, because he's kinda the main innovator of the music and everyone essentially learned from what he was doing before expanding on it.

he's alri

Non meme strictly because Four Seasons is the most significant collection of music to come out of the baroque period and blows anything that Bach ever did out out the water

Please don't mention the Brandenburg Concertos cause they are boring as hell

You better be talking about Winter you faggot.

>pleb
Vivaldi
>tryhard
Bach
>patrician
Zelenka

Zelenkas great, so is bach and vivaldi

Didnt realize how deep the superiority complex was with classical music.

>implying people only do this with classical and not every kind of musical possible here
>implying they even listen to those they label "patrician"
Most of these guys are very young, so you gotta pardon their insecurity.

Sup Forums is epicenter of pretentious cunts.

He's the chick flick of classical. He's the guy that wrote the same concerto 500 times. He's gay.

Good God. You have no idea.

It's called shitposting you faggots. How new are you?

Shitposting isn't a good thing, you do know that, right? Shitposting is shitposting, ironic shitposting is still shitposting.
