i found out that In the Aerie is actually a compilation of stuff what was put out before 2017, so that was replaced
if anyone has a problem with a change, reply pls
if anyone wants something added, suggest it to me and it'll probably go in unless a bunch of people think its shit or something
if anyone thinks something on here is shit, say so too.
woo bump
Has anyone listened to the new Bardo Pond? I think it's decent enough to have a shot on the chart, but I wouldn't know what to get rid of
im considering just putting a priority on full lengths over eps in general so there won't be releases on there that are less than 30 minutes unless they're really that good.
Hey Sup Forums I'm looking for Beautiful lunar landscape - Alone in this dark romantic night EP 2007 for a while now, could please someone share it?
vimeo.com
oh and possibly making a smaller chart for shorter singles and eps
that's a good idea
>new Slowdive just came in the post
>Alcest win off eBay just shipped
We still got this poll up and running too
rkursem.com
Should hopefully come in handy as they year ends
Thanks for this, always looking for new j-dreampop/shugazi

Heavy ass Brazilian shoegaze with a kinda proggy feel on some songs. Been so into it lately
Got a link, this is great
Guitar tone reminds me a lot of luminous orange
Anyone else see Slowdive last night?
>tfw friend surprised me with a ticket to see them tomorrow but I have a super late final exam so can't make it
life is a drag
I didn't how was it
thanks friend
Klozapin - Portal B
They're from NYC and that's all I know besides that this is their last album
Restless is giving me chills right now
thanks for the share dear user
It was so perfect to the point that I don't really know what else to say about it.
Also I may have fallen in love with the girl from Japanese Breakfast, not sure.
Is the 2012 remaster of Loveless better than original?
This is damn good
ill keep the poll in mind
sure, i guess ill replace the no joy thing cause its so short
Should I bother with the new slowdive album? I really didn't like the couple of songs they released before the album came out.
This album fucking rules
More like this?
Also I'm seeing them open for the Black Angels on Wednesday what should I expect
a lot of fog, so you wanna get close if you actually wanna see them clearly
also they throw their instruments at each other a lot
im actually being serious
Holy fuck I'm hyped to see this. If they play Dead Beat my head might actually explode
Aren't they just a three-piece these days too? That's nuts
Might be interviewing these guys in the near future, any questions I should ask?
pretty sure they usually play that
they played that when i saw them but that was a couple years ago
The singles were the worst songs on the album IMO. You should check it out if you're a fan, yeah.
Amazing album, easily in my top5 shoegaze.
>More like this?
seconding this
why they're openings for bands that aren't as good as them
guys Im begging you, can someone help me to find this track?
きのこ帝国 – 兎は光の穴を見る
I looked everywhere and i couldnt find anything
>Early demo recording handed out at live shows. Unlike all other demos Kinoko Teikoku has released, this song has not to date been revised or released on any other disc.
Honestly, best bet is probably the japanese shoegaze facebook group.
>Also I may have fallen in love with the girl from Japanese Breakfast, not sure.
We all have user, we all have.
I think its should be at japanese torrents or something, maybe someone here know how to surf them
but will try ur advice tho, thanks
kojima has very good taste
>More like this?

She can get his number AND get him into bed.
just saw them in Brooklyn tn. same feelings about Japanese breakfast, especially the bassist.
just realized i accidentally uploaded a picture of whitehouse
I think so but this is possibly because it's the first version I heard.
can't forget the new Weed album
Thoroughly enjoying this shit, user.
youtube.com
this was posted like last full thread or something but I fucking love it
oh shit, i uploaded that album on a sharethread before
Anyone have a shugazi infograph/general recs for japanese shoegaze?
I've already listened to 宇宙ネコ子, Tokyo Shoegazer, Goji-sanpun, and きのこ帝国.
well if you're still willing to upload it, I would love to have it
everyone on the archive is talking about the prog metal band
Great movie, great album
dream bf
There's a rec chart out there somewhere. In the meantime, listen to this.
Give this a try.
See right-most column
Also this has plenty of shoegaze on it if you're into vocaloids. I haven't heard much of it but you can find neat stuff.
Does anyone know to download any version of Loveless in .FLAC ?
i recced a download for this album in the other thread, it was pretty hard to find. so now i'm sharing it with you guys here

How old is /shugazi/ ?
just turned 23 late last month
Some might disagree but I feel like Jesu - Conqueror might fight that description of gothic blackgaze
Maybe, though Jesu is more like metalgaze.
This is true, but I feel like with Conqueror specifically there is enough overlap
I think it's more like doomgaze.
Yes and doom is derived from the from gothic aesthic, or they have a common root. Either way its, at the very least, tangentially applicable to the original question
>Yes and doom is derived from the from gothic aesthic
No, it's doom metal, which has a really heavy sound, that what's distinguishes Jesu as one of the pioneers of that style, but it isn't the first time that one of Broadrick's projects was compared to stuff like that. I remember Godflesh once referred to as "The Cure's Pornography on quaaludes."
This first track is not even dream pop, I was expecting shoegaze.
This is if the smashing pumpkins made an EP for an anime.
Still enjoyable
>This is if the smashing pumpkins made an EP for an anime.
Aren't a few of their songs technically shoegaze though?
yeah that's true, I should have said this is if the smashing pumpkins made a song for an anime.
It was just the opening track that threw me off, the 2nd one is definitely shoegaze
LYCIA - COLD
>new slowdive this year
>new New Game! later this year
Glad I haven't offed myself yet.
On the subject, the new Slowdive album was exactly what I needed. I really like music that I lose myself in.
Thanks senpai

Do you still need it? I downloaded it from the archive a while ago and would just have to upload it.

if you guys are into bandcamp artists, i'll share my shugazi/dream papi band here
cool, thnx for the share
where can i download this, can't find it on the archive/soulseek
pls respond
ok like this but one that people actually call shoegaze
this is fucking amazing
Indeed. In the very same vein The Angelic Process founded, pioneered and perfected the genre.
Doom Metal predates Gothic Rock by several years, it's actually the other way around. Many Gothic musicians were influenced and inspired by Doom Metal bands.

>Doom Metal predates Gothic Rock by several years, it's actually the other way around. Many Gothic musicians were influenced and inspired by Doom Metal bands.
Gothic rock and metal didn't really fuse sonically until the late 80s-early 90s. Shoegaze merged with gothic rock prior to that.
Hey, I'm not too familiar with /shugazi/ or shoegaze in general but I stumbled across pic related and really liked it, can anyone recommend similar stuff assuming anyone here as heard it? I've only listened to entry level music from the genre so far like Slowdive and MBV
Thanks friendos, it's been a very upbeat day so far with these recs.

That's a great album.
Maybe try Verve - The Verve EP. It's also very laid back if that's what you're after.
Or The Fauns - s/t.
desu i haven't heard an album quite like glitter yet, maybe others can rec more accurately.

Moongazer is a no.
