fetishes, a lot of people aren't completely satisfied by the good artists mainstream stuff, so they take it upon themselves to draw what they want to see. Then when they've got a following from fans of whatever weird niche they draw they mistake that for having skill and try their hand at drawing vanilla furry porn, thus we end up with enormous backlogs of poorly drawn fetish porn and a tonne of mid-tier vanilla pieces, plus a few genuinely good ones
