Have you listened to King Crimson before?
I'd recommend it. I've heard a lot of people not be into the genre before but still love their music.

Also, KC's album Discipline. Probably the most accessible KC.

Crywank- leechboy

Try out harpoonist and the axe murderer. Tea For Two is one of my personal favorite songs by them. If you ever really want music recs check out ygyl threads on /gif/ and /wsg/

You should try Asgeir

This is gonna be all indie rock/folk:

Built to Spill is pretty fantastic, I really like Keep it like a Secret.
Flake music - When you land here, it's time to return, which was the only album they made before they became The Shins.
The Decemberists are great, especially Picaresque (although that album's kinda dark, if you want something lighter I'd go with The King is Dead).
I recently got into Fleet Foxes too, I like Helplessness Blues a lot.
I've only listened to Ode to Sunshine from Delta Spirit, but I liked that a lot and want to listen to more of their stuff.

I'm white I promise

>I am very open to music styles

How the fuck does that shit work together? Faggot

It means i listen to a lot of different music but i still have a distaste for certain types you tunnel vision fuck.

Lurk more faggot

They use orchestral sounds on all their albums, and it's a modern band.
There's also Fleshgod Apocalpyse and SepticFlesh and plenty of others, but OP doesn't like growling vocals, so Kamelot came to mind.

But I guess I am retarded, because OP said NO classical.
Oh well.

Right on op. Look up the song called
Cannibal Corpse - From skin to liquid.

It's a instrumental song. I love death metal but I can fully understand how someone would be turned off from the vocals.

Try Neon Indian bruh!

Don't let this thread sie

Jason Becker
Yngwie Malmsteen

Kind of difficult when OP excludes everything I like.

The Crystal Method kicks ass

The Tim o' brien cover of seƱor by bob dylan

Old joe by tim o' brien

Kinda bluegrass ish

Blue is fallin' - hot rize

Here's some classical
