You are not required to do better in order to critique and have an opinion, but I'd also like to hear the music he has made.
this guy gets off on his superior music taste guarantee
Nah, I just have ADHD when it comes to picking one genre. Most of you would think my preferences are shit
...
youtube.com
recently came across this and been listening to all of their songs all the time
yea although i think he should critique when he's done something better than them.
Its easy to talk shit
>metalcore
Fucking degenerate
le R though
Classic
Baroque
Anime OSTs
Hey me, good taste.
putain ça devient intense
Forth Wanderers
Pretty much everything besides country and ambient.
I mix trap because it's easy as fuck. I like listening to indie folk like Gregory Alan Isakov, Damien Rice and whatnot, not a huge fan of classic rock because it's boring to me. My generation played the fuck out of it and it lost its appeal. Rap is okay. And I mostly write instrumental hip hop.
This is some good trash
I listen to almost every genre of music except rap and (most) dubstep. Rap is the one thing that just doesn't appeal to me, and there's only some dubstep I like, usually dubstep versions of songs I already am fond of.
Classical music, such as the stuff from hundreds of years ago (Bach, Beethoven, etc.)
Operatic classical (such as Orff's Carmina Burana)
Varieties of metal (Powerglove, Rhapsody, Alestorm, etc)
Techno/Eurodance (like Basshunter and Daft Punk)
Rock (Green Day, a small handful of songs by Imagine Dragons, etc)
Some video game music
Random stuff from anime I've picked up over the years
A whole bunch of other stuff that defies classification
Just basically whatever sounds good to me.
Poop
Gorillaz - Melancholy Hill right now. Fucking love it
Lidovico Einaudi
Moms moans. Getthelube.com
I pretend I like metal so I can fuck bitches like this one.
"shyte" for $1,000 Alex

if I am incredibly fucked up I might listen to Enya, they used to play the album with Orinocco flow on it during nap time at elementary school and I got reminded of it when I saw the girl with the dragon tattoo
Well done, son. Doin the same, except I actually like metal.
The Strokes. Fucking amazing band
Black metal, neofolk, ambient, post-rock and classical. Currently this:
youtube.com
Drain You - Nirvana
Meh, just typical mainstream rock/alternative bands. I'm not some kind of knowledgeable music god that knows every single underground band honestly.
Nirvana
Weezer
Pearl Jam
Stone Temple Pilots
Slayer
Descendants
Rancid
Metallica
Alt J
Arctic Monkeys
Rise Against
Circle Jerks
Bad Religion
Pennywise
Blackflag
Ehhh, there's a lot more I can't remember, but I guess those are the main bands I listen too.
What the fuck. Are you me?
Ok, I'll bite on this and give some smartass advice since I'm triggered.
>Classical music, such as the stuff from hundreds of years ago (Bach, Beethoven, etc.)
Ok good, but I suspect you only listen to the "nice and calm" moonshine sonata style pieces. Check out Beethovens symphonies (avoid even numbers i.e. 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th). Bach Mattheus Passion, and then move on to Mozart.
>Operatic classical (such as Orff's Carmina Burana)
Carmina Burana is the tabloid of opera, also Hitlers favorite opera. It's not bad, it's just like if you're at a fine restaurant, why eat hotdog and fries? If you like the power of it start with some Wagner overtures and take it from there. Tannhauser, the Ring, Tristan is maybe the most beautiful but don't start with it. Verdi is also a good place to start, Tosca, Otello etc. Mozart's Don Giovanni, Puccini's Tosca and La Boheme.
>Varieties of metal (Powerglove, Rhapsody, Alestorm, etc)
Just go black, you'll never look back. Burzum, Mayhem, Darktrhone.
>Techno/Eurodance (like Basshunter and Daft Punk)
Is this even techno? A lot of new dark minimal techno has been happening the last years... Check out Plastikman and Andy Stott. For happy EDM... idk.
>Rock (Green Day, a small handful of songs by Imagine Dragons, etc)
idk, rock died the death long ago
>Some video game music
>Random stuff from anime I've picked up over the years
ok
>A whole bunch of other stuff that defies classification
nothing defies classification

Recently listened to Enmerkar, they're not from the period, more modern, atmospheric, but wow.
Also the old ones:
Ulver
Thorns
Satyricon
Not so much into stuff like Gorgoroth and onwards into the 2nd, 3rd waves of black.
boney m
So basically you read the Wikipedia article and then started listening to post-black? Disappointing.
I love u. I wish i could meet u.

You only know mainstream bands.

I'll just conclude that you either fell on your head as a child or you're a pussy.
MGMT is preee good
I have no need to link it. I just cringe every time I see someone recommending the top 10 Wikipedia black metal bands.
Nice boobs.
>top 10 Wikipedia black metal bands
Lol!
There were no more than maybe 6 or 7 decent black metal bands in the short period it lasted. There were maybe 10 bands all in all.
You know nothing on the subject.
I don't think you know more bands.
Synthwave user, fuck yeah
>There were no more than maybe 6 or 7 decent black metal bands in the short period it lasted.
