I liked how despite trying to come off as smart she's actually pretty dumb.

>tfw she was the best part about this shit flick

She was annoying, desu.

And the movie was too try hard.

As always, do the opposite of Sup Forums says

If they shit on it it's probably amazing

If they call it kino (BvS) it's probably awful.

You're gonna have to explain with some examples wise guy, cause she's pretty smart.

Are you just talking about the cold coffee?

le contrarian, but seriously it was pretty fucking funny

I thought that it portrayed what an actual kid is usually like. I liked how her teeth weren't perfectly white either.

Did girls really play Pong in those days?

I'd play Pong with Holly

Was goose fucking her friends or just a really friendly dad?

I hope this ends Shane's "sassy kid" meme in his movie

I liked the film a lot but Shane shouldn't direct.

Care to elaborate friend?

I felt that film dragged on some parts that weren't as funny as Shane thought it would be (the dead in protest was okay but was kind of "sitcomy")
I never felt like the story was building up towards a big finish , which is important in action comedies.

I like his writing but I think another person working on the flick would have brought a different perspective . This depends on the director, of course.

>mother kills her own daughter
>kills a bunch of other people
>all because of a porn movie
Even if that movie contained the mother's secrets, no one would ever take it seriously. So the entire movie was for nothing. Not only that, but they abandoned the mystery we've been following throughout half of the movie... for that? What a fucking disappointment.
btw that scene where the kid watches porn and talks about anal with a porn actress was downright distasteful

Damn she grew up fast.

also

>Rice lives in Melbourne, with her parents Jeremy Rice, a director, and Kate Rice, a writer.

what a surprise, yet another lucky cunt born into the industry without having to work for it

lads pls

it's a comedy guys

all i hear you saying is she's ripe

>wholeheartedly believes cinema contains such a thing as a "distasteful" moment or scene
don't you have Judith Butler to be sparknoting or something?

Yeah, she worked pretty well as a kid character without being overly wise cracking or right all the time, she could have very easily been a Lisa Simpson clone

yeah, i feel the same way. however, i haven't laughed in a comedy yet this year and laughed loudly several times during The Nice Guys so Black is still on my must-see list with whatever he does. btw, i think this was first pitched as a tv series, so it explains some of the more sit-comy moments like the protest.

Everything with Goose and Crow was fucking great. They work really well together. Most of the comedy worked pretty well but a few lines fell flat but it sort of worked in like a corny 80's movie way. The girl kind of dragged the movie down even though she was integral to the plot. At times she made it feel like some 90's Nickelodeon detective girl movie. Keith David should have had a much bigger part, he has like 10 lines. Overall I thought it was a good movie but Id like a sequel that focuses more on Gosling and Crowe

pls tell me you're baiting and not this misguided

Just finished this, the girl was the best part of the movie. Best line was Ryan fell off the roof saw Nixon and said I think invincible, it's the only thing that makes sense!

lol agreed

The bee part was pretty funny too, I thought I was dreaming myself for a second

misguided how

Alright then thanks for absolutely nothing.
>Type out a detailed post.
>Get a reply of "I HOPE YOURE BAITING XD". >Ask you to explain further
>Nothing
This is why this board is shit.

Propably the biggest dissapointment of the year so far, at least for me. Thought it would be a good, funny movie. Literally every single funny scene was in the trailer. Completely ruined it.
Otherwise the movie was mediocre at best.

no mate it's the little bumps

hon hon monsieur

didn't laugh once in the whole film

for those that thought it was funny, can you provide two examples of funny scenes?

inb4
>how did you get down here? did you fall
>bathroom scene

Literally movie of the year

this x100

>didn't laugh once in the whole film

I bet you weren't even in the film, so how can you laugh in it? checkmate bitch

samefag

The only funny scene was when he cut his own wrist. And that was a cliche done many times before.

So, yeah, a disappointing.

name one instance where this has been done before, pro tip: you can't
inb4 you can

>the dream scene and subsequently March reaching for Healy's gun
>Hitler was just following orders

Checkmate

i agree with the first one, i did find that funny when he was reaching for the gun

but still, one laugh in 2 hours isn't too great tbqh. even if i laughed 10 times it wouldn't be too great

Yeah fair enough, well for me this was the first comedy that has made me laugh as much as it did in quite some time so maybe that's partially why I like it as much as I do

Though I still think it'll make a good double feature with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
