Screaming kids and jump scares: the show

Screaming kids and jump scares: the show

I honestly can't think of one jump scare in the whole show.

>literally this

Sufferin' succotash

Did you watch the show or are you just pretending you saw it?

literally nobody would be talking about this shit show if it weren't for the netflix shills

I've watched the first two episodes and so far the kids haven't screamed and there hasn't been a single jumpscare.

OP's a flaming fucking retard: the post

i bet you think the babadook has jump scares too

I have a question. When Hopper checked the security tape of that experiment facility he said there was no hint of rain on the tape yet they aborted their search because of a storm.
But they weren't searching for Will the night he disappeared so what were they hoping to see on the tape?

It's actually not bad you should watch the first episode.

yes they were, the major search parties were started the next day, the first day it was just the cops

>jump scares
>screaming kids
neither of these things happen, ever

No, the cops were searching the night AFTER he disappeared. The night he disappeared no one was around, they didn't even know he was missing until the next morning.

there's maybe like 2 jumps scares in the entire show you retarded piece of shit

yea, the first night after he disappeared, but now that I'm thinking about it that doesn't make sense either, i need to rewatch

>what were they hoping to see on the tape?
someone taking will? where will might have gone, him going into the facility? anything

The deer.

nancy's hand coming out of the tree when creeper dude her

KYS

>someone taking will? where will might have gone, him going into the facility? anything

But those all would have happened ON the night he disappeared. They started searching the night AFTER he disappeared, and it was raining that night. It didn't rain the night Will disappeared.

Think of it this way:
Let's say Will disappeared on Friday. It was a clear night.
His mom noticed he was missing on Saturday, so the cops started searching. It was a rainy night.
Hopper theorizes Will crawled through the pipe on Friday, yet he asks for the tapes from Saturday.

yea not him, but I get what your saying the timelines don't really match up, Hops statement doesn't really make sense

>again tho might just need to rewatch, prob missed something

literally the first scene where the scientist is pulled up

hmm fair enough, that's true. I guess he should have been looking at the tapes of the night he went missing (clear night) as well as subsequent nights. It wasn't handled when. But the point is he found out they were lying by showing him the tapes from the second night (story night) and the tapes being clear, no rain.

It's literally an 80's pastiche.

It's like Tarantino was born ten years later.

It's comprised entirely of Stephen King, Amblin and A Nightmare On Elm Street bits and pieces. I have no problem with nostalgia porn.

wasn't handled well*

Yeah, figuring out the lie still works to make Hopper think they're hiding something, but the irony is that if they'd showed him footage from the rainy night he wouldn't have seen anything anyway because that's the night AFTER everything actually happened.

Agreed, Literally the first scene in it, and then when the boys loading up the .22 in the shed..

Not that its a jump scare from what you are seeing, its the sudden blast of music that triggers an instinct jump, which to me is more annoying than actually scary..

Like when you jump in the car and the stereo was left blasting, Is that scary? no, its just a jump from the sudden assault on your ear drums..

Lasted 20 mins into the first ep...

its objectively less than the sum of it's parts, though.

if you think this show has jump scares, i can't imagine what you do when trailers for a horror movie play on tv
