I bet you'd enjoy the films of Wes Anderson.

moonrise cuckdom was great

Lawrence Kasdan

Alien 3 was amazing

Seven and The Social Network were awesome.

I nominate Adam McKay, Neil Marshall, and Chris Nolan.

I'm also pretty indifferent to William Friedkin, though I still have a few films of his left to see.

So amazing that he disowned it?

Silverado, Wyatt Earp, and Dreamcatcher were abysmal. Hang your head in shame.

>Rushmore

Larry Cohen

He managed to make an awesome film, despite being fucked over by Fox

>gone girl was not amazing

Joe Dante

I thought all those were decent/good.

Have you not seen The Stuff?

John Badham

Robert Zemeckis

Ron Howard

Nah. Back to the Future is a modern classic.

And fuck Forrest Gump

Renny Harlin

Silverado wasn't too bad. Kevin Kline was just miscast.

Nolan

I'll give you Silverado begrudingly, only because it's good in that so bad it's good way. Wyatt Earp and Dreamcatcher were just bad though.

He directed one of the worst Freddy movies, which is saying something.

Ridley Scott
Sidney Lumet
Clint Eastwood
David Cronenberg
Nicolas Winding Refn

This feels like you're trying too hard. Refn's probably the closest but man I fucking loved Neon Demon.

Really? Cronenberg and Scott have never made any "great" films

>tfw recently an extra on Mindhunter

Fincher was kind of an asshole. One of the other extras fucked up and he yelled at him for a good minute, embarrassing him in front of everyone. But yeah his work is great and speaks for itself.

Videodrome & Blade Runner.

And The Martian sucked.

>he's never seen Videodrome

He's a well known perfectionist so this doesn't surprise me one bit.
