Post albums where the best song is followed by the worst song and others try to guess which songs you're referring to
that album has no bad songs
Worst doesn't necessarily mean bad
I Know It's Over followed by Never Had No One Ever?
never had no one ever is not the worst song
however the boy with the thorn in his side is tied for best song imo with vicar as worst
that album has no bad songs
There is a light > Some girls
retards
the boy with the thorn in his side > vicar in a tutu only right answer
Some girls is my favourite song on that album
Queen Is Dead > Frankly Mr Shankly
frankly > some girls > vicar desu
The more I think about it the more I realize most if not every XTC album does this, skylarking does too
...
OBJECTIVE RANKINGS
1. I Know It's Over
2. Bigmouth Strikes Again
3. The Queen Is Dead

5. Frankly, Mr. Shankly
6. Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others
7. Cemetry Gates
8. The Boy with the Thorn in His Side
9. Vicar in a Tutu
10. Never Had No One Ever
THEY ARE ALL GOOD SONGS THOUGH
How can anyone defend Some Girls? Worst song by far.
Fuck off, Marr's guitar playing on that song is God tier

10. Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others
I agree. I've always thought that There is a Light or I Know It's Over would have been a much better closing track for the album
winrar
This.
guess
Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others is the best Smiths song in general. Definitely the best song on that album. People who don't like it I would consider musical retards.
Too true, it's one of his very best riffs imo. Shame Morrissey had to spoil it with his asinine lyrics though.
it's not Pyramid Song & Pull/Pulk Revolving Doors
...
Une année sans lumière > Neighborhood #3
Life In A Glasshouse into the end of the album because it's a masterpiece
>power out
>worst song
I'm speechless
...
I was thinking Packt like Sardines > Pyramid Song but that's better
(you)
Neighborhood #3 is actually the best song though
Put Frankly Mr. Shankly down between vicar and thorn in his side and I agree
you're either talking about Dollars & Cents > Hunting Bears or Knives out > Morning Bell, if I had to guess.
Fancy Clowns to Eye?
Money Folder to Shadows of Tomorrow?
...
this, pyramid song is overrated as FUCK
...
figaro to hardcore hustle
A Little God in My Hands > Bring the Sun
she loves us! > kirsten supine
...
You're very close in terms of track listing
...
This
One of my favorites on the album honestly even Morrissey's stupid shit can't ruin those riffs
>Pink + White
>Be Yourself
?
Kirsten Supine is the third best song. I am a sucker for corny lyrics.
>Rebellion (Lies)
>In the Back Seat
It's gotta be
Bring The Sun/Toussaint L'Overture > Some Things We Do
Still the greatest album of the 90s, but if you've heard this record all the way through you know exactly what I am talking about.
In the Back Seat >>>>> Rebellion (Lies) tho
DINGDINGDING!!!
WINRAR
...
Motherfucker, if you think Frankly Mr Shankly is bad I'll slice your throat
Desert Search For Techno Allah > Violenza Domestica
NOT EVEN CLOSE
Latter half of the album
If anything, Violenza's the best track.
easy
I'm actually listening to the album for the second time now.
I'll guess again once I'm finished
...
I Know It's Over -> Never Had No One Ever?
Excuse me, sir. Nothing comes after Rhinestone Cowboy.
What said.
Should be easy
...
>Yeah - Crass Mix
>Yeah - Pretentious Mix
or
>Daft Punk Is Playing At My House
>Too Much Love
the first of those is correct tho
You won't regret it, friendo.
fuck or it could be
>Losing My Edge
>Beat Connection
Why does that album have so many hits and misses
Muse isn't good at all with the exception of their earliest stuff.
it was the Yeah's
and fuck you Beat Connection is great
consider it least bad to most bad
Fair enough
BUMPARINO
Now that I don't listen to this anymore, it's the one I think of the most. I dunno.
very good album desu
anyway, is it The Bends > Backstokin' ?
I know you're talking about Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz>The Bends but The Bends is actually the best track, however Backstokin is also god tier, so the closest I can think of is the amazing free jazz fusion improvisation piece that is "platypus"->the kinda disappointing kept-it-from-being-a-10-but-still-good comedy rock/power electronics tune that is "merry go bye bye"
wait, do people not like The Bends?
I thought it was very good
Yeah it's seen as the Moonchild of this album from what I remember from discussion about it
...
Wake Up then Crown of Love? Or Rebellion and In The Backseat? Or Neighborhood #2 then Une Anne Sans Lumiere? Those are the only ones I can think of.
How can someone think Neighborhood #3 is the worst song.
Perfect album, but there are still probably two right answers.
some girls are bigger than others is worst
tunnels best
i don't like anything else
Never tell
Jesus
Country death song
I hear the rain
...
you're referring to i know it's over -> never had no one ever, but i know it's over isn't the best song.
anna (go to him)
chains
Nah, was thinking I Saw Her Standing There followed by Misery.
Correct. I am the original poster btw. Backstrokin, while satisfactory is kind of meh compared to the Bends, the best ten minutes of music ever produced.
...
And All You Can Do Is Laugh 1 isn't the best song though
you're right, JimmyBreeze 1 is
My vote goes to Riviere (worst) following Kimdracula (fucking awesome)
Here, I'll rank them
12) Chemical Marriage 7.5/10 (Actual worst track, but still fun and bouncy, just doesn't click for me as much
11) After School Special 8/10 (Really good for what its worth but not fleshed out enough)
10) Backstrokin 9/10 (Really good giallo melody, I would consider this an earworm, not the worst, but pales in comparison to previous)
9-4) Everything else 10/10
3) Merry Go Bye Bye 11/10 (Best closer of any album since Uncle Meat and Fun House)
2) Violenza Domestica 11/10 (My personal favorite)
1) The Bends 12/10 (absolute majesty, it could be in the books to me, it creates a story thru wordless music that swells, derails, and climaxes in what could be its own album if they stretched It out 20 more minutes)
come on guys, you know it's the truth
>Treating the two halves of each track as separate songs
Can't imagine what it's like to be this pleb
they are different tracks, though
they have the same name because each of them were one side of a single
New Grass to Runeii?
But Lucky isn't a bad song
>No Surprises best song
But it is tho
But it isn't
