COMFY HORROR

Post comfy horror movies

That's the only one I can think of. Sitting around the Inn was pretty comfy.

ti west is comfy horror king

The Thing.
Sleepy Hollow.
Gremlins 1 and 2.
Anything from Hammer I guess.

Housebound
Any John Carpenter

If a horror movie is comfy it isn't doing its job. Horror is designed to make the audience feel uneasy and afraid at the most basic primal level. Horror as a genre of literature, film, etc. Is all about discomfort, ergo it can't be comfy.

Pontypool

Or you can use that comfy feeling to heighten the unnatural feel when spooky shit does happen

unironically one of my faves

Madhouse

what do you mean, I instantly shut a self-proclaimed action-movie off if I find someone sitting down for even a second

This movie is so boring,I awlays forgot I already saw it.

In the right hands this would be absolutely horrifying instead of a joke

This, that's why i turned off Drive and smashed mycopy exactly when he stepped out of the car, it was called "Drive" not "Walk"

yeah, nah. that script would need burning.

I mean the idea not the script, it's trash

This is comfy as shit:
The Invitation (2016)
Coherence
Also you can try The Twilight Zone series (1959 one) and Tales from the Crypt
