I felt like shit after this.
Love everything about him. The thing he does with the hand, how realistic he felt in his decisions.
But then two comic book characters, not believable, straight off of schlock town, came along.
That's when I literally dropped it as well.
I don't see how Omar is a comic book character.
The entire point was: Nobody's immune.
I guess this scene closed the door on Stringer's arc
TOP 5 DEATH SCENES?
1. STRINGER
2. CHEESE
3, D'ANGELO
4. OMAR
5, PROP JOE
WHOOPS SPOILERS
great list. I'd add Frank even though we didn't actually see his death. That fade to black over him walking to the meet was such a gut punch
ay yo lock that door
think he means brother calzone
>no Bodie
Shit list
this familia
>omar
why?
shit sorry bro, forgot about Frank
that music montage
can't swap sorry
I agree some reason his death got to me the most. I guess it was just the simple death he received.
Bodie was a damn chump
>ah man i'm so tired
yeah wasn't thinking about that when you were wasting Wallace or acting like a total shit
goood riddance
1. BODIE
2. PROP JOE
3, CHEESE
4. STRINGER
5, OMAR
How the hell anyone would care about BODIE over D'ANGELO I don't know
>I don't see how Omar is a comic book character.
He was talking about "WE WUZ KANGS" guy who loves to quote Malcolm X.
Pretty sure Brother is based on a real person just like Omar and Avon and Stringer were.
Yeah based on the disciples of Elijah Muhammad--a total retard.
Read Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley.
1.BODIE
2.STRINGER
3.CHEESE
4.D'ANGELO
5.Michael's Stepfather
man as soon as he told jimmy that he was just tired i knew he was dead. idk why but that just made me feel really sad
>THIS MY CORNER I AIN'T GOING NOWHERE
>I DON'T GIVE A FUCK
>YOU'RE NOT PUTTING ME IN ONE OF THOSE EMPTY VACANTS
One of the few times I felt genuine sadness in The Wire
A pawn who held on to old principles
1. George Glekas
2. Cheese
3. Proposition Joe
4. Omar
5. Wallace
Wallace was the only death that I really felt. Omar was just a twist in the nuts, it didn't need to happen.
Most of these other deaths I don't even remember. I haven't seen this show in 2 years, and I already forgot a good portion of it. Why do people say this is the greatest show of all time again?
because TRUE POLICE
...
Because it is, congrats you have also self diagnosed yourself with having early onset alzheimer's and mental retarditions
Because I can't bother remembering 60 episodes of
"Oh shit shawty was a cop shouldn'da done dat tho"
"Oh shit that guys sellin on my curb, better cap him"
"Oh man gotta keep goin it's da game brah"
I want to rewatch this show, but at the same time don't want to ruin memories of it.
Sherrod?
If you don't get Omar's death, then you don't get The Wire.
