Are Americans really that friendly...

Are Americans really that friendly? I've heard that they engage conversations with strangers and are usually willing to help.

Armed society makes for a polite society. You are more willing to be friendly if every social action is a potentially deadly interaction.

Americans suffer from such a verbal diarrhea, honestly
>I've met one American in Prague on my job interview and by the time it was my turn I already knew his mother's maiden name, how he got fat and lost weight again, how amazing we are and how america is the best country in the world

It's true, the helping part is true to a certain extent, maybe it's becoming less common because shitty people take advantage of good will.

This is also true.

same shit happens here
>be on the bus
>some dude sits next to me
>starts chatting to me like we're best friends
Shit gets annoying at times.

They are extremely invasive and speak to much, they are annoying. They speaks like they are your friend.

and what is the problem with that?

autism----------->

>that they engage conversations with strangers and are usually willing to help

only if you're white, and not in the cities

It's not friendliness, they are simply too autistic to ignore strangers

Yes, but like others have said, we tend to talk a bit too much and too loudly.

They can be yes, walked into a hotel elevator and an American instantly started talking to me because he liked what was on my shirt.

kek, american seems like very interesting people

>tfw take vacations to america
>strike up conversations with random strangers
>that point int he conversation where I tell them I am Canadian
>their face

Everytime. I love doing it.

They make conversation easy. But it doesn't seem genuine.

Why are you doing it though ? I don't understand, seems rude to disturb people with your idle chatter

That's because most of the time it's not genuine. Getting actual real American friends is hard.

Yes we do this
Most Europeans don't understand it, because how they interact with their friends is different.

Who wants to be friends with some faggy europeans?

Hey Poland thanks for Vienna and everything, your women are hot

Hey Finnbro I like guns too, we should go innawoods and hunt together sometime

My mom's maiden name is Jackson.

Hey there, what's your opinion on Batman vs. Superman

Hi Pierre, boy you're lucky to be French I wish I could be too

Hey Uruguay what's your favorite kind of ice cream?

Hey brah I like you hair where did you get it done?

I like your shirt too, really cool dude

kill yourself

Hello Fernando I'll be your friend in fact now we're best friends, let's go have some tapas

Rude.

Rude

Its not hard the issue is that you completely misunderstand who actually is your friend. Just because we talk to you and are nice doesn't mean that we are friends, just associates.

When I was there, it would usually end up talking about England once they hear my accent. Doesn't happen too often to be all that annoying, though

100% Not true at all.

I'm Dutch. I have a second house in Spain Mike. But sure we'll have some tapas.

Only if you appear non-threatening.

It's because if we stop talking we will begin to question whether or not we exist. Talking is the only way to reassure ourselves of this.

No, that's because you don't understand the meaning of acquaintances.

For people who claim to understand American culture, you guys sure don't know much.

Well here in Europe we don't pretend to be super nice to everyone. Because we're not fake.

100 percent not true.

source: me a spic 100 percent aryan from texas.

rural american very friendly to everyone, city dwellers like niggers and the "educated" view you as some subhuman.

>Because we're not fake
Again, little understanding of the culture.

>city dwellers like niggers and the "educated" view you as some subhuman.

Hasn't been my experience. You probably have a shit attitude which is why the city dwelling niggers and educated people don't like you.

is this because of Trump???

they're both friendly and assholish more than usual

european assholism is snobbishm but american assholism is violence

Europoors act they way they do because living in socialism has sucked the desire to live from them.

youtube.com/watch?v=rsyouRyUWXo

Miserable little "twats" they are

>Be an autist for avoiding strangers
>Be an autist for not ignoring strangers.

Well shit.

what was on your shirt?

No, don't come here

>he was so autistic he needed to reply to a stranger's comment on the interwebs

People are like that here too.

Maybe it has something to do with all the legal speed that's prescribed here.

I'm a bit more chatty with strangers right after I take my vyvanse.

I'll speak to people if the situation is suitable. More to just be friendly, not autism, like I couldn't resist.

Figured it was same in every country desu.

And not like this retard.

All Europeans are autistic, to a certain extent.

So I have to be a dick to everyone that isn't my actual friend?

verbal diarrhea isn't the only type of diarrhea Americans suffer from

Same in Turkey.

I really like it desu, that doesn't happen here and it depresses me.

You can't talk to strangers here. I saw an old man waiting for a bus and he tried to make chat with a woman there and her face literally became so disgusted and she got up walked away and said "eugh fuck off creep".

How sad is that... really

are Europeans really this autistic they can't talk to people they haven't analyzed in depth.

>t-too intelligent to have friends
suck out

It means shut up, keep your head down, and get out of the way, I'm trying to get on the subway.

>Be American with occasional diarrhea
>Be a gypsy in southern Europe
Make your choice 4Channel.

>be ameripleb with sharted pants
>be czech in most comfiest state in Europe

even our gypsies don't shit in stores or streets, so average ameripleb is filthier than the filthiest gypsy

>most comfiest state in Europe
This is Eesti. Don't try to steal their thunder.

you were saying?

You can't measure comfy with a specific amount of money you autist

Yes, although to you Europeans it may seem "Fake" because no one ever talks but it's just the culture here to be nice.

If you ever come here to go on a camping vacation, then it becomes the worst. You can't hike without everyone saying hi to you on the trails.

No that depends on where you live. Country folk(rural areas) and as open and friendly as can be. City dwellers can be very cold and dismissive.

Even in the South.

no need to envy anybody anything is the sole definition of comfiness

>City dwellers can be very cold and dismissive.
Stockholm area in a nutshell

Reminds me of one summer I was working as a sever at a restaurant that's like chipotle (in which the server makes your food in front on you as you say what you want) and this guy with an English accent starts ordering and I just stood there blushing profusely, cause I was so startled and I have a habit of blushing when nervous. He looked at me strangely then I proceeded to make his order very nervously and spilled spaghetti while ringing him up. My hands were shaking as I gave him his change, why am I like this?

The only euros that can pull off that cynical sarcastic thing are the brits the rest come off cuckish and try hard

Come to France, you'll see how snobbish, cold and cynical we can be

Are you a girl
Honest question

here people call cops if you ask them directions

I don't know but you should probably kill yourself and never subject people to posts like this ever again

Good point, I was mostly thinking of Germans and Scandinavians when I said that. But I've heard the people in southern France are quite warm and latin?

>Friend lives in Germany as a student
>Rides his bike, falls off bike
>Germans just look at him and walk away

>Go to France on a trip
>Ask for directions to a street to meet up with friend
>First four just look at me or tell me they don't know
>Fifth one points out direction which was literally a block away

Northern Europe = autism the continent

>tfw introvert in an extremely extroverted country
I want off this ride

what's the deal? I've always heard that euros were nicer.. idk what to believe anymore

That is somewhat true, yes. Especially in places like Georgia. Southerners are exceptionally superfluously polite to each other. Aren't Finland an armed society too? Are you polite to each other? Seriously, the twigman incident would have never happened in America. Why is that?

No, the French come off as snooty, you guys can't do detached cynicism well.
Russians are better. It's their 24/7 mood.

same here. luckily i work in IT. not that many extroverts around me.

What is the twig man incident

What is with the custom of not replying to posts that are correct?
That is a post that deserves a reply, yet it lays there unnoticed.

A finnish meme. That level of open confrontation is kinda rare.

Come home

>euros are nicer
they are distrustful and more status/image conscience than anything.

americans worship money but they treat people the same regardless of having it while euros always strive to look/appear refined and bourgeois.

>>Friend lives in Germany as a student
>>Rides his bike, falls off bike
>>Germans just look at him and walk away
wtf I hate europe now

>euros were nicer.
nicer than who?

had a friend fall while we hiked Zion
some random guy with sunglasses and bald head carried her to the main entrance and two others offered to help alleviate the pain by going to their camp grounds to get aspirin/ibuprof while the other sat there talking about her family

if we did this in the black forest we'd have to have hopped on one leg and no one would've given a fuck.

t. zionist

...

Yeah if you go to middle America you will see a bunch of fat disgusting slobs dressed in cargo shorts and sandals have multi-million dollar RV's and trucks that cost more than my house, they dress and eat like absolute filth even with all that money.

Meanwhile a European who barely makes 50k Euros a year dresses more nicely.

you are a delusional idiot and probably a pajeet to boot

ITT: let me tell you about your country

that's normal, everybody just mind their own business
plus, says a country that thinks healthcare is a priviledge

No one is impressed by your existential crisis. Go read a self-help book or something.

That's cute, not everybody wants to be a cold piece of shit, American neighborhoods can create very familiar environments, Their attachment feelings at such a local level are a big pillar to their success as a big country.

Americans and canadians. Although.. who's nicer than canadians?

>delusional
>pajeet

Dunno why you think I'm delusional. I've driven from NY to California and worked in France and Germany (traveling to neighboring countries). The typical working European looks way better than 99% of this country, the only people that can compete are people from hip areas like Williamsburg queens, Richmond, parts of LA. Otherwise an american making 100k a year still looks dirt poor in fashion sense and body maintenance

We're not like that though, we're in the middle between autistic germans and scandis, and ohmahgahd americans

Did you know laughter is a stress response? There's no other purpose, yet we do it anyway. Talking to strangers cuts the tension and awkwardness of silence. It doesn't matter what the topic is. Some people feel the need to interact with others so they can form a bond.

Maybe this is why multiculturalism works in the new world so much better than Europe: it's easy to only see the differences but when you actually talk to one another you learn we're really not that different after all.

No no were not. We Americans fucking hate Trump, blacks, jews, Obama, everything.

yes, online
but in person you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with the balls to speak out

...

Why are you so salty, Czechfriend?

I like that about them. Black people always treat me different tho, racist bastards.

There's a bit more melancholy in Russians.

or it could be that Americans born and raised here are used to seeing people of many different beliefs, origins, and cultures.

Yeah man, I do that pretty much daily. Most people are nice and friendly where I live so it's easy go get along with strangers.

No idea, but probably, they're all half Italian or Spanish so i wouldn't be surprised
